If Obama works with the United Nations and NATO against Syria and does not seek authorization from Congress for the use of the U.S. military, he may face impeachment, according to a resolution introduced by Republican Representative Walter B. Jones Jr.

“Expressing the sense of congress that the use of offensive military force by a president without prior and clear authorization of an Act of Congress constitutes an impeachable high crime and misdemeanor under Article II, Section 4 of the Constitution,” the resolution states.
H.CON.RES.107
Latest Title: Expressing the sense of Congress that the use of offensive military force by a President without prior and clear authorization of an Act of Congress constitutes an impeachable high crime and misdemeanor under Article II, section 4 of the Constitution.
Sponsor: Rep Jones, Walter B., Jr. [NC-3] (introduced 3/7/2012)      Cosponsors (5)
Latest Major Action: 3/7/2012 Referred to House committee. Status: Referred to the House Committee on the Judiciary.

Jones introduced his resolution after Obama’s Defense Secretary Leon Panetta and Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Gen. Martin Dempsey told Senator Jeff Sessions during a Senate Armed Services Committee hearing last week that they would seek “international permission” to attack Syria. Congrerss would not be consulted, but merely informed of the decision.

“Our goal would be to seek international permission and we would… come to the Congress and inform you and determine how best to approach this, whether or not we would want to get permission from the Congress – I think those are issues we would have to discuss as we decide what to do here,” Panetta told Sessions.

“Well, I’m almost breathless about that,” the senator from Alabama replied, “because what I heard you say is, ‘We’re going to seek international approval, and then we’ll come and tell the Congress what we might do, and we might seek congressional approval.’ And I just want to say to you that’s a big [deal].”
Panetta said a NATO or United Nations resolution would provide the legal basis for using U.S. troops in military action against Syria.

“They can provide no legal authority. The only legal authority that is required to deploy the United States military is of the Congress and the president and the law and the Constitution,” Sessions told Panetta.
The startling admission led to Rep. Walter Jones, R-N.C., to introduce “an official resolution calling for impeachment should Obama take offensive action based on Panetta’s policy statement, because it would violate the Constitution,” former U.S. Rep. Tom Tancredo told WorldNetDaily on Sunday.

Obama’s decision to avoid Congress and violate the Constitution takes on a renewed urgency this week as the UN Security Council meets to discuss the Syria issue. Any UN decision to attack Syria following the failure of talks with the country’s leader, Bashar al-Assad, over the weekend would be questionable since both Russia and China are opposed to military intervention. In February, Russia and China vetoed a resolution condemning Syria’s clamp down on the opposition.

Assad said over the weekend his government will not negotiate while “armed terrorist groups were still operating in the country.” The Free Syria Army (FSA) fighting against Assad inside Syria is a creation of NATO. Sources indicate 600 to 1,500 fighters from the Islamic Fighting Group in Libya, now known as al-Qaeda in Libya, are working with the FSA to topple the Assad regime. An Arab League report revealed last month that Mossad, MI6, the CIA, and British SAS are in Syria working with the Free Syrian Army and the Syrian National Council.

Syria blames “terrorist gangs” backed by Saudi Arabia and Qatar for much of the violence in the country, according to Syrian Information Minister Adnan Mahmoud.

Grace + 0 = Salvation?

Written by UPCI Tract  http://www.apostolic.net/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=76:grace--0--salvation-&catid=44:oldies-but-goodies&Itemid=46

In an editorial one minister declared, "There is nothing that can be added to bring salvation to a soul. "Grace," he wrote, "wrought salvation with no strings attached." Another minister stated. "Grace plus nothing equal salvation."Is this biblical? Have these ministers gone farther than the Scriptures go? Must not the recipient of salvation take some corresponding action in response to grace? If there is nothing that one can do, or if no response is necessary, what about the scriptural passages that call for action?

When guilty sinners asked, "Men and brethren what shall we do?" the Apostle Peter replied, "Repent . . ." (Acts 2:37-38 ). When Saul of Tarsus inquired, "Lord, what wilt thou have me do?" the Lord answered, "Go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do" (Acts 9:6 ). After a devastating earthquake, while springing into the crumbled ruins of the prison in an attempt to take his own life, the Philippian jailer heard the voice of Paul call out, "Do thyself no harm, for we are all here." He was sure his prisoners would be gone. When he discovered them yet present, he turned to Paul and Silas and cried out, "Sirs, what must I do to be saved?" Their answer was, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved and thy house" (Acts 16:25-31 ).

In each of these scriptural incidents, action was demanded of the inquirer. The first was, "Repent"; the second, "Go; the third, "Believe." All three called for action of the will. A command was issued in each instance. It was not Grace plus nothing equals salvation." It was grace plus faith plus obedience equals salvation"! Or "Grace plus obedient faith equals salvation."

Grace is God's Act

Grace is the unmerited, undeserved favor of God bestowed on a person through the atoning sacrifice of the Lord Jesus Christ. Grace is the source of salvation. Grace means that God initiates salvation. It includes every act on God's part that brought salvation to mankind. God's grace caused Him to manifest Himself in flesh as Jesus Christ, assume limitations, freely give Himself on Calvary and arise on the third day for our justification.

God Alone is the Source of Salvation

Salvation was initiated in heaven as God's plan. Man was not counseled concerning it. In fact, man had nothing to do with its institution other than being the object of it!
"God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life" (John 3:16 ).
"God, who is rich in mercy, for His great love wherewith He loved us. . ." (Ephesians 2:4 ).
"For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that ye through His poverty might be rich" (II Corinthians 8:9).
From these verses the role of grace in salvation is evident---grace initiates salvation.

Faith and Obedience are Man's Response

Faith takes God's grace, mercy and kindness and appropriates it to an individual's own life. "For by grace are ye saved through faith" (Ephesians 2:8 ).
Faith is the agency in the heart of a man that receives the message of God's great grace, applies grace to his own condition, and sees a way out of his lost state. In other words, faith appropriates salvation.
Finally, obedience steps upon the scene and becomes the active agent, motivating one to act on what grace has provided and faith appropriated. Actually we can view obedience as included in true biblical faith and not something apart from it. Since many people think of faith as merely mental assent, we must stress that saving faith does involve obedience. At least nineteen passages in the New Testament adjure obedience to salvation. In short, obedience activates salvation.
"And we are witnesses of these things; and so also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey Him." (Acts 5:32 ).
"But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered unto you." (Romans 6:17 ).
"He became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey Him" (Hebrews 5:9 ).
The truth about salvation can be illustrated by a checking account. The account in the bank is the source of money and corresponds to grace. The act of cashing the check represents obedience.
Let us suppose someone wants to give you a gift of $1,000. He writes a check for that amount and instructs you to cashgrace_0 it. It is yours; you have the check in your hands. But the money is still in the bank and not in your hands until you cash the check.

Your act of cashing the check is the required obedience, and this obedient response is needed if you are to enjoy the benefits of the bank account and check. If you do not act, the bank retains the money in the donor's account and you do not get it! So it is with God. The donor is God, the check is faith, and obedience cashes the check.

The doctrine referred to in Romans 6:17 is experienced earlier in that chapter. Romans 5:20-21 depicts the wonderful grace of God that always abounds more than sin and leads to eternal life. Then Romans 6:1-7 describes the means by which grace is applied. Specifically, the Roman Christians died to sin, were baptized into Jesus Christ, thereby being baptized into His death and being buried with Him in baptism, and arose to walk in newness of life.

In other words, they obeyed the command to repent, be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ, and receive the Holy Spirit. This experience identified them with Christ's death, burial and resurrection, thereby bringing to them the abounding grace of God's provision. Their obedience, which was faith in action, was the channel through which they received God's grace.

No, it is not "Grace + 0 = Salvation." Rather, "Grace + Faith + Obedience = Salvation." If a person does not obey, then he does not truly believe, and if he does not believe then he has not received the grace of God. Acts 2:41 depicts the proper attitude that we must have towards the revelation of God's grace: "Then they that gladly received His word were baptized: and the same day were added unto them about three thousand souls."

After hearing about the grace of God, the crowd believed by receiving Peter's word and immediately obeyed by being baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. Likewise Saul immediately obeyed when Ananias told him what to do (Acts 9:17-18 ;22:16), and the Philippian jailer obeyed after Paul and Silas had explained the way of salvation to him (Acts 16:31-34 ).

Obedience is the criterion of faith. We must respond in obedient faith to receive the grace of God in our lives. We must not be misled into thinking that no response on our part is necessary for us to be saved. We must obey God's word. We must believe and obey the message preached by the apostles and received by the crowd on the Day of Pentecost: "Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost" (Acts 2:38 ).

After Death. . . What?

http://www.apostolic.net/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=85:after-death-what-&catid=44:oldies-but-goodies&Itemid=46

Can anyone think of a more relevant question? All of us pass through the narrow passageway leading from thins life to the next-- the passageway we call death. We shall all experience the transition into a new realm, another existence beyond this life and world we know today.
Let us for a moment consider the personal experience

we shall have with death. One day our hands will be folded across our lifeless breast and our eyes will be closed as our body takes its last ride to the cemetery. The purple curtains will be drawn. "The black camel of death," said one, "will kneel for each of us at our door, and we shall have no choice but to mount and ride off into the desert of darkness." Death is no respecter of persons.

Beyond life what?

We may only speculate on certain aspects of the future, not knowing much that it holds, bet we do know the One who holds the future in His hands. And it is He who has revealed much of the future to us. He who knows the end from the beginning, the future as well as the past. Reveals in His Word that at death the body returns to the earth, while the soul goes to a temporary destination to await final judgment. Each of us determines in this life what our destiny will be; it will depend upon our response to redemptive plan that God designed for the sinner's deliverance from eternal doom.
We may ascend to a place of peace in the presence of God, as Paul declared in II Corinthians 5:8. It is possible for us to dwell eternally in a place of happiness, bliss and contentment, knowing that our redemption has been completed, that we have finished our course in faith, and that we are being rewarded. Or we may descent into a place of suffering, there to be detained until the final judgment and then to be sentenced to the everlasting punishment of the lake of fire. (See Matthew 25:46 ; Luke 16:22-26 ; Revelation 20:11-15 ).
Both places are, in a sense, temporary, for we shall wait until our souls are reunited with our bodies in the resurrection. Jesus described the resurrection in John 5:28-29 , and Paul spoke in detail of the first resurrection in I Thessalonians 4:16-17.
The resurrection of the just and the resurrection of the ungodly are separated by one thousand years of peace on earth (Revelation 20:2-7 ). The just of the present age will be those who have been redeemed by the blood of the Lamb-baptized in His name and filled with His Spirit; the ungodly will be those who have reused to surrender to the terms of the gospel.

Final Reward of the Righteous

For those who are saved, there will be the city not made with hands- the new Jerusalem. This city is described in Revelation 21 as the eternal home of the redeemed.
Missing in this city will be the evil things that are found in every large earthly city. Gone will be all crime an violence. God's people will walk the golden streets without fear of molestation.
Revelation 21:18 describes the wall of this city as jasper and the city itself as pure gold. There will be no need for the sun or moon there, for the Lamb will be the light of the city (Revelation 21:23 ).
And, wonder of wonders, the redeemed will enjoy the blessings of this city eternally. The poet exulted:
When we've been there ten thousand years,
Bright shining as the sun,
We've no less days to sing God's praise
Than when we'd first begun.
The Fate of the Wicked
In contradistinction, for unbelievers there is 'the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone" (Revelation 21:8 ). The only emotions there will be agony and regret, and from that place there will be no escape.

The Present Determines the Future

Eternity-never-ending ages! A person's state there is totally dependent upon the present-what he does during time. His eternal destiny will be decided by whether or not he trusts in the redeeming blood of Christ and avails himself of its merits through faith and obedience.
Let us consider today the nearness of our souls to the rendezvous with death. David solemnly declared, "There is but a step between me and death" (I Samuel 20:3). Death is a certain step, and yet it is an uncertain step as to time, place, and manner. It is, further, a solitary step so far as other human beings are concerned. Only Christ can go with us through that dark valley.
Are you ready for that moment and for the eternity to follow?
The Bible proclaims how to prepare for eternity and enjoy eternal life with Christ: "Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall received the gift of the Holy Ghost" (Acts 2:38 ).

RULERS OF EVIL-Tupper Saussy

SUBLIMINAL ROME chapter 1

“The Roman Catholic Church is a State.”
— BISHOP MANDELL CREIGHTON, LETTERS

WHEN A PULITZER PRIZE-winning reporter announced in his 1992 Time Magazine cover story that a “conspiracy” binding President Ronald Reagan and Pope John Paul II into a “secret, holy alliance” had brought about the demise of communism, at least one reader saw through the hype.  Professor Carol A. Brown of the University of Massachusetts fired off a letter to Time’s editors saying,

Last week I taught my students about the separation of church and state.
This week I learned that the Pope is running U.S. foreign policy.
No wonder our young people are cynical about American ideals.

What Brown had learned from Carl Bernstein I had discovered for myself over several years of private investigation: the papacy really does run United States foreign policy, and always has. Yes, Bernstein noted that the leading American players behind the Reagan/Vatican conspiracy, to a man, were “devout Roman Catholics” – namely,

William Casey Director, CIA                                Richard Allen National Security Advisor
Judge William Clark National Security Advisor          Alexander Haig Secretary of State
Vernon Walters Ambassador-at-Large         William Wilson Ambassador to the Vatican State

But the reporter neglected to mention that the entire Senate Foreign Relations committee was governed by Roman Catholics, as well. Specifically, Senators:

Joseph Biden Subcommittee on European Affairs
Paul Sarbanes International Economic Policy, Trade, Oceans, and Environment
Daniel P. Moynihan Near Eastern and South Asian Affairs
John Kerry Terrorism, Narcotics, and International Communications
and...
Christopher Dodd Western Hemisphere and Peace Corps Affairs

Bernstein would have been wandering off-point to list the Roman Catholic leaders of American domestic policy, such as Senate majority leader George Mitchell and Speaker of the House Tom Foley.

In fact, when the holy alliance story hit the stands, there was virtually no arena of federal legislative activity, according to The 1992 World Almanac of US Politics, that was not directly controlled by a Roman Catholic senator or representative. The committees and subcommittees of the United States Senate and House of Representatives governing commerce, communications and telecommunications, energy, medicine, health, education and welfare, human services, consumer protection, finance and financial institutions, transportation, labor and unemployment, hazardous materials, taxation, bank regulation, currency and monetary policy, oversight of the Federal Reserve System, commodity prices, rents services, small business administration, urban affairs, European affairs, Near Eastern 6k South A s i a n affairs, terrorism/narcotics/
international communications, international economic/trade/oceans/environmental policy, insurance, housing, community development, federal loan guarantees, economic stabilization measures (including wage and price controls), gold and precious metals transactions, agriculture, animal and forestry industries, rural issues, nutrition, price supports, Food for Peace, agricultural exports, soil conservation, irrigation, stream channelization, flood control, minority enterprise, environment and pollution, appropriations, defense, foreign operations, vaccines, drug labeling and packaging, drug and alcohol abuse, inspection and certification of fish and processed food, use of vitamins and saccharin, national health insurance proposals, human services, legal services, family relations, the arts and humanities, the handicapped, and aging – in other words, virtually every aspect of secular life in America –
came under the chairmanship of one of these Roman Catholic laypersons:

Frank Annunzio           Joseph Biden   Silvio Conte     Kika De la Garza         John Dingell
Christopher Dodd       Vic Fazio          James Florio    Henry Gonzalez           Thomas Harkin
Edward Kennedy        John Kerry       John LaFalce   Patrick Leahy              Charles Luken
Edward Madigan        Edward Markey          Joseph McDade           Barbara Mikulski        George Miller
Daniel Moynihan         John Murtha      Mary Rose Oakar        David Obey     Claiborne Pell
Charles Rangel            Dan Rostenkowski       or   Edward Roybal

Vatican Council IPs Constitution on the Church ( 1 9 6 4 ) instructs politicians to use their secular offices to advance the cause of Roman Catholicism. Catholic laypersons, “whoever they are, are called upon to expend all their energy for the growth of the Church and its continuous sanctification,” and “to make the Church present and operative in those places and circumstances where only through them can it become the salt of the earth” (IV, 3 3 ) . Vatican II further instructs all Catholics “by their competence in secular disciplines and by their activity [to] vigorously contribute their effort so that ... the goods of this world may be more equitably distributed among all men, and may in their own way be conducive to universal progress in human and Christian freedom ... and [to] remedy the customs and conditions of the world, if they are an inducement to sin, so that they all may be conformed to the norms of justice and may favor the practice of virtue rather than hinder it” (IV, 3 6 ) .
Vatican II affirms Catholic doctrine dating back to 1302, when Pope Boniface VIII asserted that “it is absolutely necessary for the salvation of every human creature to be subject to the Roman Pontiff.” This was the inspiration for the papacy to create the United States of America that materialized in 1 7 7 6 , by a process just as secret as the Reagan-Vatican production of Eastern Europe in 1989. What? American government Roman Catholic from the beginning?

This is just the beginning of chapter 1.  American history you were never taught in school.  This may upset you; it will enlighten you. The author comes to reasoned conclusions you may or may not agree with.  The information that led him to his conclusions may lead you to other conclusions.  It is the information he presents that is vitally important for your understanding.  You've GOT to read this book.

Warning: While the author seems to be exposing historical horror, he does so with an apparent fascination and approval of the craftiness of the worldly system, and it's chief players...specifically the Jesuits. He states: "Suntzu advised a ruse known in the lingo of modern covert professionals as “blown cover as cover:”  One of the greatest ruses of the world system is to play a role opposite of your heart.  It almost seems this is a confession to sway the reader to the the inevitability of the plot, and it's apparent Godly stamp of approval, while admitting that it stinks that these world rulers are so inherently evil. Don't buy into the thought that the Jesuits are really on a Godly mission, just because the wicked are the sword of the Lord.  God uses evil people for His own end, but He still hates every evil way, and those who follow it. Please also read The Secret History of the Jesuits.

Col.3:
 9.  Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds;
 10.  And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:
 11.  Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all.
 12.  Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;
 13.  Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.
 14.  And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.
 15.  And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.

Rev.22:
 13.  I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.
 14.  Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
 15.  For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.

How Rome really thinks:

“A heretic merits the pains of fire....By the Gospel, the canons, civil law, and custom, heretics must be burned.” — The American Textbook of Popery, p 164 (quoting from the “Directory for the Inquisitors”).

“The Pope is of great authority and power, that he is able to modify, declare, or interpret even divine laws. The Pope can modify divine law, since his power is not of man, but of God, and he acts as vicegerent of God upon earth...” — Lucius Ferraris, in “Prompta Bibliotheca Canonica, Juridica, Moralis, Theologica, Ascetica, Polemica, Rubristica, Historica”, Volume V, article on “Papa, Article II”, titled “Concerning the extent of Papal dignity, authority, or dominion and infallibility”, #30, published in Petit-Montrouge (Paris) by J. P. Migne, 1858 edition.

“We may according to the fullness of our power, dispose of the law and dispense above the law. Those whom the Pope of Rome doth separate, it is not a man that separates them but God. For the Pope holdeth place on earth, not simply of a man but of the true God....dissolves, not by human but rather by divine authority....I am in all and above all, so that God Himself and I, the vicar of God, hath both one consistory, and I am able to do almost all that God can do...Wherefore, no marvel, if it be in my power to dispense with all things, yea with the precepts of Christ.” — Decretales Domini Gregori ix Translatione Episcoporum, (on the Transference of Bishops), title 7, chapter 3; Corpus Juris Canonice (2nd Leipzig ed., 1881), col. 99; (Paris, 1612), tom. 2, Decretales, col. 205 (while Innocent III was Pope).

The Volcanic Return of Jesus Christ

Wrath of God

Promises to the Believer-

Romans 5:9. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.

1 Thess 1 10. And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come.

1 Thess 5: 9. For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ.

Lava: the Blood of the Earth?
"...the earth also shall disclose her blood,"
"...and blood came out of the winepress, even unto the horse bridles, by the space of a thousand and six hundred furlongs"
It has been suggested that the geographic layout of the land of Israel is shaped like a winepress, with the head of the winepress at the Golan Heights, Mt. Hermon- historically volcanic.

The Earth to be destroyed twice- 1st by water, then by fire.
Gen 6: 13. And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth.

2 Peter 3: 3.  Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,
 4.  And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.
 5.  For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:
 6.  Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:
 7.  But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.
 8.  But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
 9.  The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.
 10.  But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
 11.  Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,
 12.  Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?
 13.  Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

We know that the first earth was destroyed by water... it perished.  I believe we have scriptural precedence  to support the argument that at Jesus' 2nd coming the current earth will "perish" from fire/lava.

Scriptural precedence hinting at volcanic reaction to the presence of the Lord.:

Judges 5: 4.  Lord, when thou wentest out of Seir, when thou marchedst out of the field of Edom, the earth trembled, and the heavens dropped, the clouds also dropped water.
 5.  The mountains melted from before the Lord, even that Sinai from before the Lord God of Israel.

Psalms 46
 1.  God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
 2.  Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;
 3.  Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah.
 4.  There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High.
 5.  God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early.
 6.  The heathen raged, the kingdoms were moved: he uttered his voice, the earth melted.
 7.  The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.
 8.  Come, behold the works of the Lord, what desolations he hath made in the earth.
 9.  He maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth; he breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in sunder; he burneth the chariot in the fire.

Psalms 68- prophetic ?
 1.  Let God arise, let his enemies be scattered: let them also that hate him flee before him.
 2.  As smoke is driven away, so drive them away: as wax melteth before the fire, so let the wicked perish at the presence of God.
 3.  But let the righteous be glad; let them rejoice before God: yea, let them exceedingly rejoice.

Psm 97
3.  A fire goeth before him, and burneth up his enemies round about.
4.  His lightnings enlightened the world: the earth saw, and trembled.
5.  The hills melted like wax at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the Lord of the whole earth.
 6.  The heavens declare his righteousness, and all the people see his glory.
 7.  Confounded be all they that serve graven images, that boast themselves of idols: worship him, all ye gods.

Isaiah 63- The Wrath Foretold
 1.  Who is this that cometh from Edom, with dyed garments from Bozrah? this that is glorious in his apparel, travelling in the greatness of his strength? I that speak in righteousness, mighty to save.
 2.  Wherefore art thou red in thine apparel, and thy garments like him that treadeth in the winefat?
 3.  I have trodden the winepress alone; and of the people there was none with me: for I will tread them in mine anger, and trample them in my fury; and their blood shall be sprinkled upon my garments, and I will stain all my raiment.
 4.  For the day of vengeance is in mine heart, and the year of my redeemed is come.
 5.  And I looked, and there was none to help; and I wondered that there was none to uphold: therefore mine own arm brought salvation unto me; and my fury, it upheld me.- 2nd coming
 6.  And I will tread down the people in mine anger, and make them drunk in my fury, and I will bring down their strength to the earth.

Nahum 1:
2.  God is jealous, and the Lord revengeth; the Lord revengeth, and is furious; the Lord will take vengeance on his adversaries, and he reserveth wrath for his enemies.
 3.  The Lord is slow to anger, and great in power, and will not at all acquit the wicked: the Lord hath his way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet.
 4.  He rebuketh the sea, and maketh it dry, and drieth up all the rivers: Bashan languisheth, and Carmel, and the flower of Lebanon languisheth.
 5.  The mountains quake at him, and the hills melt, and the earth is burned at his presence, yea, the world, and all that dwell therein.
 6.  Who can stand before his indignation? and who can abide in the fierceness of his anger? his fury is poured out like fire, and the rocks are thrown down by him.
Joel 3: 13.  Put ye in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe: come, get you down; for the press is full, the fats overflow; for their wickedness is great.

Isa. 26: 20. Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast. (RAPTURE)
21. For, behold, the Lord cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain. (WRATH)

 Rev.14:-
14. And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle.
15. And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe.
16. And he that sat on the cloud thrust in his sickle on the earth; and the earth was reaped. (RAPTURE)
17. And another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven, he also having a sharp sickle.
 18.  And another angel came out from the altar, which had power over fire; and cried with a loud cry to him that had the sharp sickle, saying, Thrust in thy sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth; for her grapes are fully ripe.
 19.  And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God.
 20.  And the winepress was trodden without the city, and blood came out of the winepress, even unto the horse bridles, by the space of a thousand and six hundred furlongs.(WRATH)

Like the Wheat and the Tares:
Matthew 13
 24.  Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field:
 25.  But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.
 26.  But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also.
 27.  So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares?
 28.  He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up?
 29.  But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them.
 30.  Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles (drawn to the valley of Meggido) to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.
Rev. 19:
 11.  And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.
 12.  His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.
 13.  And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.
 14.  And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.
 15.  And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.
 16.  And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.
 17.  And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God;
 18.  That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great.
 19.  And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army.
 20.  And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone. (Lava?)
21. And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.

Result of rebellion against God:

Rom.1:
18.  For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;
 Rom.2:
1.  Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things.
 2.  But we are sure that the judgment of God is according to truth against them which commit such things.
 3.  And thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them which do such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God?
 4.  Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?
 5.  But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God;
 6.  Who will render to every man according to his deeds:
 7.  To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life:
 8.  But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath,

Eph.5:
1.  Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children;
 2.  And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.
 3.  But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints;
 4.  Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks.
 5.  For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.
 6.  Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.

Zechariah 14:
 1.  Behold, the day of the Lord cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee.
 2.  For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city.
 3.  Then shall the Lord go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle.
 4.  And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.
 5.  And ye shall flee to the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and the Lord my God shall come, and all the saints with thee.
 6.  And it shall come to pass in that day, that the light shall not be clear, nor dark:
 7.  But it shall be one day which shall be known to the Lord, not day, nor night: but it shall come to pass, that at evening time it shall be light.
 8.  And it shall be in that day, that living waters shall go out from Jerusalem; half of them toward the former sea, and half of them toward the hinder sea: in summer and in winter shall it be.
 9.  And the Lord shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one Lord, and his name one.
 10.  All the land shall be turned as a plain from Geba to Rimmon south of Jerusalem: and it shall be lifted up, and inhabited in her place, from Benjamin's gate unto the place of the first gate, unto the corner gate, and from the tower of Hananeel unto the king's winepresses.
 11.  And men shall dwell in it, and there shall be no more utter destruction; but Jerusalem shall be safely inhabited.
 12.  And this shall be the plague wherewith the Lord will smite all the people that have fought against Jerusalem; Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth.(Couldn't be nuclear bomb... or any other kind of bomb!  That's what we used to say.  But lava...)
 13.  And it shall come to pass in that day, that a great tumult from the Lord shall be among them; and they shall lay hold every one on the hand of his neighbour, and his hand shall rise up against the hand of his neighbour.
 14.  And Judah also shall fight at Jerusalem; and the wealth of all the heathen round about shall be gathered together, gold, and silver, and apparel, in great abundance.
 15.  And so shall be the plague of the horse, of the mule, of the camel, and of the ass, and of all the beasts that shall be in these tents, as this plague.

After the thousand year reign of Jesus with the saints:
I believe this scripture fits here rather than at the 2nd coming:

Isaiah 34
 1.  Come near, ye nations, to hear; and hearken, ye people: let the earth hear, and all that is therein; the world, and all things that come forth of it.
 2.  For the indignation of the Lord is upon all nations, and his fury upon all their armies: he hath utterly destroyed them, he hath delivered them to the slaughter.
 3.  Their slain also shall be cast out, and their stink shall come up out of their carcases, and the mountains shall be melted with their blood.
 4.  And all the host of heaven shall be dissolved, and the heavens shall be rolled together as a scroll: and all their host shall fall down, as the leaf falleth off from the vine, and as a falling fig from the fig tree.
 5.  For my sword shall be bathed in heaven: behold, it shall come down upon Idumea, and upon the people of my curse, to judgment.
 6.  The sword of the Lord is filled with blood, it is made fat with fatness, and with the blood of lambs and goats, with the fat of the kidneys of rams: for the Lord hath a sacrifice in Bozrah, and a great slaughter in the land of Idumea.
 7.  And the unicorns shall come down with them, and the bullocks with the bulls; and their land shall be soaked with blood, and their dust made fat with fatness.
 8.  For it is the day of the Lord's vengeance, and the year of recompences for the controversy of Zion.
 9.  And the streams thereof shall be turned into pitch, and the dust thereof into brimstone, and the land thereof shall become burning pitch.
 10.  It shall not be quenched night nor day; the smoke thereof shall go up for ever: from generation to generation it shall lie waste; none shall pass through it for ever and ever....(because Jerusalem will be inhabited at the 2nd coming- I believe this is post millennium.)

Rev.20:
6. Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.
7. And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,
8. And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog, and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.
9. And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.
10. And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
11. And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.
12. And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
13. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
14. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
15. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
