The Constitutional government of the United States has been overthrown, and the American people have been captured. The only question now is what are we, as true Americans believing that our Constitution is the one and only law of the land, going to do about it? It’s now simply a matter of what the blowback from the tyranny being thrust upon us will look like, how or even if it will play out.

If you are looking for normal political solutions out of this legal, financial, moral and spiritual mess of a country, I believe that time has long passed. If your hope rests in a change with the midterm elections, go back to sleep or better yet, increase the dosage of your medication. It is clearly evident by the actions and inaction of the spineless or compromised leaders in whom you’ve placed your hope and future, and the future of your children and grandchildren, that doing so again will change nothing. We are a captured operation, and partisan politics is nothing more than theater to divert your attention from the iron fist of tyranny that is about to change life as you know it.
You must understand that our nation today is ruled not by democrats or republicans, but by the party of royalty with a European mindset and a Globalist agenda. The morphing from a two-party system into one of elite royalty did not happen overnight, but incrementally and under the proverbial radar of a deliberately distracted public.Much of what you see, hear and read is a lie so big that you don’t recognize it as a lie, and so bold that it operates without question or impediment right in front of us. There are plenty of writers and talkers who will sugar-coat the lie or participate in political theater for air time, print space or a paycheck, but I refuse to be one of them. Allow me to walk you through my investigative findings into the “Obama conspiracy” to show you just how deep the lie goes. By the end of this summary report, I hope that you will better understand the lie, the objectives of those involved, and the fate intended for us all.
They are not coming for our guns
“Did you really think we want those laws observed?” said Dr. Ferris. “We want them to be broken. You’d better get it straight that it’s not a bunch of boy scouts you’re up against… We’re after power and we mean it… There’s no way to rule innocent men. The only power any government has is the power to crack down on criminals. Well, when there aren’t enough criminals one makes them. One declares so many things to be a crime that it becomes impossible for men to live without breaking laws. Who wants a nation of law-abiding citizens? What’s there in that for anyone? But just pass the kind of laws that can neither be observed nor enforced or objectively interpreted – and you create a nation of law-breakers – and then you cash in on guilt. Now that’s the system, Mr. Reardon, that’s the game, and once you understand it, you’ll be much easier to deal with.” -Ayn Rand, Atlas Shrugged
Would you believe me if I wrote that the government is not after our guns? Probably not, as it certainly looks that way with the pending executive orders and new gun legislation. Well, the guns are secondary. I urge you to think bigger, “think outside of the box.” Make no mistake about this, they will come after our guns, but they are coming after us.
By believing in the Constitution, we’ve earned ourselves a spot on the latest incarnation of the White House enemies list. By supporting the Constitution as the ultimate law of the land, we’ve identified ourselves as an enemy of the state. By “clinging” to our guns and Bibles, we pose a danger to the globalist agenda rooted in socialism, fascism and communism. By understanding that we are being victimized by an out-of-control banking system, we have earned a spot on the “single-cause” terrorist watch list. By becoming informed of the tyranny that exists before us, we have become a threat to their ultimate global objectives.
They are afraid of not just the guns, but of by a well armed and well informed populace that understands the meaning and intent of the Second Amendment. It is the well informed and the well armed that they fear, as they should. The are racing against the clock as we become more informed and better armed. Accordingly, they must act in haste, as they see us rapidly peeling away the layers of lies that have kept them insulated for so long.
Certainly, they will attempt to get our guns, but make no mistake that it’s us, or those unwilling to be serfs, who they are after. Their hunt will be relentless, matching their end-game objective of creating the royal elite while enslaving the unwashed.
Those among us who believe they can talk their way out of an illegal government confiscation by claiming the loss of their guns in some boating accident are self-deluded and not understanding the larger picture. Adherence to this delusion is not only childish and naive, but a dangerous underestimation of the intent of the tyranny that lies before us. We must face what lies ahead like adults and prepare ourselves accordingly.
What lies ahead?
“The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun.” -Ecclesiastes 1; 9 (KJV)
The hour is late and time is short. A rapid understanding of the lie and how deep it goes is required right here, right now.
We can briefly look at a few key events that not have changed history, but will also reveal the tyrannical playbook of the global elite that has remained unchanged for the past century.
From the attack on Pearl Harbor to the assassinations of JFK, RFK, and MLK, to the Gulf of Tonkin incident through the attack that “changed the world” on September 11, 2001, each event is deeply mired in various levels of deception, controversy, inconsistencies, unanswered questions, and conflicting accounts. The farther we travel away from each event, the less chance the actual truth will ever be made known, at least in time to make a difference. Even worse, reasonable people seeking sensible and honest answers and wanting nothing less than the complete truth are routinely vilified and forced into accepting the “official” accounts of the various events being questioned.
Two of the most recent relevant issues that remain mired in controversy and off limits to inquiring minds are Obama’s eligibility status and the attacks of September 11, 2001. Despite “official accounts” regarding the former, the issue remains a legitimate controversy to the extent that Barack Hussein Obama II, a/k/a Barry Soetoro, has yet to prove his eligibility to hold office under the Constitution of the United States. Despite what has been reported or accepted as fact, Obama has never produced authenticated hardcopy documentation of his Certificate of Live Birth, verification of his social security number and related documentation, his selective service documents, or his official passport records.
Even the most hard-core conservatives have long argued that the entire eligibility matter is a fringe issue unworthy of discussion. Much like the previous controversies referenced, we are forbidden to have a sensible discussion on the matter, at least not without obligatory vilification. Yet, vital and relevant questions remain unanswered amid the requisite obfuscation, diversion and yes, vilification.
We are not permitted to know the bona-fides of the man who is tasked with transforming the United States from a Constitutional Republic into a tyrannical kingdom of royalty and serfs. Questions related to his eligibility are never answered. Instead, they are met with accusations of racism and bigotry where none is ever intended or warranted.
Such questions are also met with objections that the issue distracts from other more important issues. What could be more important than the background and eligibility of the man who holds the most powerful position in our country and arguably, the world? Perhaps never allowing these questions to be addressed was the plan from the start. If so, it’s a tactic that certainly fits with information that follows.
Also, there remain very legitimate and very relevant questions about the attack of September 11, 2001, “the event that changed the world.” Instead of being able to hold a rational, thoughtful discourse about valid concerns, any questions are met with accusations that those asking the questions are lunatics enamored by delusions of some grand conspiracy. Are we not entitled to answers about an event that resulted in the creation of governmental policies and agencies that are responsible for the most intrusive attacks on the liberties of every American?
From the attacks of 9/11 to Obama’s eligibility to even the most basic questions surrounding the recent Sandy Hook school shooting (yes, there are inconsistencies in need of answers), we cannot have a reasonable discussion without being castigated and marginalized as conspiracy nuts. You see that the stage for asking such questions has been set throughout time. After all, who are we, the unwashed masses, to question our “leaders” about anything of substance?
Now, those of us who seek only the truth must fight against the putrid hubris of the likes of Obama and his minions, the Clintons, the Feinsteins, the Cuomos, New York Mayor Bloomberg, and others who hold the reins of power. To be completely honest and fair, such unbridled hubris extends to those on the right as well, including the members of Bush dynasty, John Boehner, Lindsey Graham and countless others. Again, we are not governed by political parties, but ruled by royalty who have erected firewalls of protection against the common people, us - the serfs.
Although they did not create the current perspective, they most assuredly embraced and advanced it. How dare we, the uninitiated and unwashed, question their words and actions?
Their tasks become easier as they have firmly entrenched their advance teams within the press to further their objectives. They know the power of the airwaves and print, and use the likes of Piers Morgan, the chameleon for the modern day Camelot and arguably a man with no love for our Constitutional Republic to do their bidding. The political right has similar truth suppressors who trade their morals and integrity for a paycheck, and the future of our nation for a promised seat at the table of power. And we, the people who have built this nation with the sweat of our brow and the skin from our knuckles, are scolded like children when we dare ask for the truth.
Such is the perspective or the backdrop from which we must now operate.
Obama: selected to be the last president
America is more than a piece of land. It is a mindset, an ideology that was founded on the Declaration of Independence and our Constitution. Our founders left England and established our great nation to rid themselves of the oppression we are seeing return with even greater force and oppressiveness. But something happened to many of us over the years to make us more accepting of the British or European model of governance, which is exactly what we are seeing take over our nation. It is the push for globalism, a global governance, a singular mindset drafted and choreographed by the most rich and powerful families of the world.
As Americas, we’ve been set up. Perhaps it began in 1913, when America was force fed the lie of our current and corrupt monetary system with the establishment of the Federal Reserve. Then came the creation of the Internal Revenue Service, which was a consolidation of power regulating our wealth. From the League of Nations to the United Nations, the push for consolidation of power by the few to rule the many has been the objective.
As we progressed through the Twentieth century, can we now look back and see with increasing clarity that Communist infiltration of nearly every branch of government, our centers of higher learning and all schools, compliments of the creation of the Department of Education, as well as the media? Can we now see with clarity that America, too strong to be taken down from the outside, is being taken down from within?
Can any rational, sane person explain the run-up to, and consequences of the financial crisis of 2008? Our unbridled debt of over 16 TRILLION dollars? As you watch the evening news or listen to political pundits talk of recovery and improving economic conditions, do you wonder what planet they are from, or whether they actually believe their lies? Do you honestly believe that we had fair elections in 2012? How about 2008, 2004 or even 2000?
America was set up from the inside to be destroyed. Our children have been sold into slavery to illegal debt created by a cabal of central banks based… in London. Perhaps that’s the reason Barack Hussein Obama, or whatever his real name is, is so reluctant to show his papers, as perhaps he’s really a British citizen, as his father, who hailed from Kenya, was actually a British subject, which would make Obama a British national.
Could it be that we’ve been taken over once again by the British empire? Is European socialism being used a as a stepping stone to Communism and then to global governance, or a “New World Order?”
When the American dollar collapses, and it must, which country will play a major role in replacing our defunct economic system? Great Britain? So, in one fell swoop, America will become beholden to Great Britain and all of its laws once again.
People like Michael Savage, who is already on Her Majesty’s radar might want to consider those implications.
Perhaps that’s why Piers Morgan is smirking and acting as if he owns America.
In any event, what are we, true American patriots and not just keyboard warriors, prepared to do about it? The time to decide is now. The time to act will be soon.

The Bible Is the Best Safeguard Against False Doctrine

The works and words of J.C. Ryle have spoken wisdom and truth into the lives of many Christians. In the book, Warnings to the Churches, Ryle addresses the many dangers facing the church in his time, dangers that continue to run rampant today. In discussing the perils of chasing after “diverse and strange doctrines” (Heb. 13:9), Ryle emphasizes the great importance for all Christians to be avid readers and students of the Scriptures. The Bible, after all, is the best weapon to wield against the devices of Satan.
Many things combine to make the present inroad of false doctrine peculiarly dangerous. There is an undeniable zeal in some of the teachers of error: their ‘earnestness’ (to use an unhappy cant phrase) makes many think they must be right. There is a great appearance of learning and theological knowledge: many fancy that such clever and intellectual men must surely be safe guides. There is a general tendency to free thought and free inquiry in these latter days: many like to prove their independence of judgment by believing novelties. There is a widespread desire to appear charitable and liberal-minded: many seem half ashamed of saying that anybody can be in the wrong. There is a quantity of half-truth taught by the modern false teachers: they are incessantly using Scriptural terms and phrases in an unscriptural sense. There is a morbid craving in the public mind for a more sensuous, ceremonial, sensational, showy worship: men are impatient of inward, invisible heart-work. There is a silly readiness in every direction to believe everybody who talks cleverly, lovingly, and earnestly, and a determination to forget that Satan is often ‘transformed into an angel of light’ (2 Cor. 11:14). There is a widespread ‘gullibility’ among professing Christians: every heretic who tells his story plausibly is sure to be believed, and everybody who doubts him is called a persecutor and a narrow-minded man. All these things are peculiar symptoms of our times. I defy any observing man to deny them. They tend to make the assaults of false doctrine in our day peculiarly dangerous. They make it more than ever needful to cry aloud, ‘Be not carried about.’
Does any one ask me, ‘What is the best safeguard against false doctrine?’ I answer in one word, ‘The Bible: the Bible regularly read, regularly prayed over, regularly studied.’ We must go back to the old prescription of our Master: ‘Search the Scriptures’ (John 5:39). If we want a weapon to wield against the devices of Satan, there is nothing like ‘the sword of the Spirit, the Word of God.’ But to wield it successfully, we must read it habitually, diligently, intelligently, and prayerfully. This is a point on which, I fear, many fail. In an age of hurry and bustle, few read their Bibles as much as they should. More books perhaps are read than ever, but less of the one Book which makes man wise unto salvation. Rome and neology could never have made such havoc in the church in the last fifty years if there had not been a most superficial knowledge of the Scriptures throughout the land. A Bible-reading laity is the strength of a church….
If we would not be carried about by ‘diverse and strange doctrines,’ we must remember the words of our Lord Jesus Christ: ‘Search the Scriptures.’ Ignorance of the Bible is the root of all error. Knowledge of the Bible is the best antidote against modern heresies.

A Lightning Bolt of Insight Regarding Obama and the Media!

Amazing things happen when you pray to the Holy Spirit for vision and clarity. If you are old enough to remember enjoying playing with a kaleidoscope, you know how a slight twist of a wrist can dramatically alter the view. After reading several emails from CFP friends and hearing several comments on talk radio, I enjoyed a lightning bolt of insight regarding Obama and the media
The same people who are intent upon destroying the U. S. are those who have been surreptitiously infusing sustainable development/U. N. Agenda 21 across the globe for twenty years. This agenda is wholly unconstitutional and encompasses all of the attacks being waged upon the American citizen and taxpayer. They have infiltrated and corrupted both major political parties, our Federal government, electoral process and legal system. Several dons are American traitors, others are just greedy narcissists from Europe and elsewhere who get their jollies by controlling and hurting others. They have teamed with equally greedy and narcissistic middle-level sellouts (U. S. President, VP, members of Congress and the SCOTUS, union thug management and lobbyists). Together, they use the unwitting, low hanging fruit within society as pawns to ram their perdition upon the distracted proletariat on the global chessboard.

These puppeteers are doubly dangerous. They hate people and they work in the shadows in pushing people’s buttons and pressing their agenda. Each crisis is an opportunity to pour rock salt into the wounds they have inflicted upon us. People’s faith in God, our constitution, national sovereignty and personal freedoms must give way to a globalist agenda in which self-appointed elitists control the lives of the great unwashed. They employ their expertise within the media to pull the strings of people’s emotion. Common sense, morals and ethics are overpowered by people’s emotions purposely aroused by the media. They don’t build consensus, they impose their myopic consensus by employing the Cold War ruse called the Delphi Technique, along with incorporating the Hegelian Dialectic.

Gun control, indoctrination in lieu of education, attacks upon people’s religious beliefs, degraded healthcare, higher taxes, draconian regulations, open/porous borders, a reduced quality of life, alleged racism, a weakened military, the juxtaposition of patriots and terrorists/traitors, etc., all play prominently in the grand scheme of destroying the U. S., herding us into a global, sustainable, and controlled society. What an oxymoronic Utopia, but many people buy into the lies of the puppeteers!

But, as Ron Popeil was known to say, ‘There’s still more!’ The elites have mastered ways to offload employee compensation by using taxpayer money to control the masses.

Unemployment ‘compensation’ has become the ‘new normal,’ buying people’s silence and civility, ‘gently’ tightening the noose of elitist control around the unsuspecting beneficiaries.

Additionally, grant funding allows the stealth diverting of taxpayer monies to fund the elitists’ Communist agenda. Adding fuel to the fire they have ignited, they know higher tax rates result in lower tax revenues. This is part of the equation for destroying a thriving economy and free people. After all, they control how taxes are levied on various sources of income, so they care little about tax rates on ‘earned income;’ that is so not bourgeoisie. The elitists play the masses for fools, realizing that their media comrades are in place to marginalize anyone who speaks the truth.

God was invited by our Founding Fathers to oversee our escape from the tyranny of one monarch and the establishment of an entirely different form of governance. We now live under the tyranny of 546 monarchs and ‘monarchettes’ within our Federal government and their gutless accomplices who lurk in the shadows of society. It is time for men, women and children of faith, who love our blessed country, to implore Almighty God to provide us with a backdoor escape from the hellish nightmare being foisted upon us by the elites of the world at our expense.

Border Patrol Opens First Unmanned Crossing on U.S.-Mexican Border

This from the Cutting Edge:

"Get ready for the very first 'unmanned' border station on the U.S.-Mexico border. Slated to open at the end of this month, the Big Bend National Park in Texas will be staffed by, you guessed it, computers. The station will be equipped with machines that can scan citizenship documents and conduct live video interviews with U.S. Customs and Border Protection agents at a station in El Paso, Texas ... Mexican citizens will be able to use the crossing..."
This concept was borrowed from similar unmanned border crossing stations on the Canadian border.
"While similar unmanned border crossings are already implemented successfully on the Canadian border, this will be the first time a totally computerized station is built on the U.S.-Mexico border."
This unmanned border crossing will become a beehive of illegal crossings of both immigrants and drugs, but the major point is that this action is just one more sign that the planned merger of the three countries on the North American continent as created by the Club of Rome is moving forward on numerous fronts.
While I am totally opposed to America surrendering her sovereignty to the regional government, I realize that this plan will be successfully implemented one day because the Club of Rome plan fulfills prophecy (Daniel 7:7-8).
Warn your unsaved loved ones! The time for receiving Jesus Christ as Savior is quickly moving past us all. The time is coming when no man can contend for precious eternal souls.

Is Getting a Tattoo a Sin?

By Robin Schumacher

A young woman at our church was confused over whether or not it's sinful to get or have a tattoo. Thinking it may not be appropriate for Christians to get tattoos, she referenced Leviticus 19:28, which says, "You shall not make any cuts in your body for the dead nor make any tattoo marks on yourselves: I am the LORD."

How would you have responded to her? Is it wrong for Christians today to have tattoos?

What Matters Most

It should first be understood that Scripture makes it clear that God cares most about the inside of a person rather than what's on the outside. Jesus said, "That which proceeds out of the man, that is what defiles the man. For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed the evil thoughts, fornications, thefts, murders, adulteries, deeds of coveting and wickedness, as well as deceit, sensuality, envy, slander, pride and foolishness. All these evil things proceed from within and defile the man" (Mark 7:20-23).

Later, Jesus chastises the Pharisees, who were all about keeping a pristine outside public appearance, by saying, "Now you Pharisees clean the outside of the cup and of the platter; but inside of you, you are full of robbery and wickedness. You foolish ones, did not He who made the outside make the inside also? But give that which is within as charity, and then all things are clean for you" (Luke 11:39–41).

The examples of this principle are legion in Scripture, so suffice it to say that God is clear in His Word: the priority is to get your heart right before Him and everything else will follow in good fashion.

But that said, does such a truth mean that the external characteristics of a Christian don't matter to God?

Making Heads or Tails of Old Testament Commands

Leviticus 19, as a whole, addresses Israel's behavior within the purview of the pagan nations around them. Our present day Church is also present within a pagan world that rejects the true God.

There are a number of seemingly odd verses in this passage, including verse 19: "You shall not breed together two kinds of your cattle; you shall not sow your field with two kinds of seed, nor wear a garment upon you of two kinds of material mixed together."

Wait a minute. Does God really care about things like wool and polyester blends?

Not at all. Instead, many of the commands in this passage should be understood in this way: God is giving Israel physical reminders at that time about spiritual truths that still carry forward to us today as modern day believers.

For example, in verse 19, He's telling Israel that a garment made of a singular material is a reminder for them not to take the pure, singular faith given to them by God and mix it together with the pagan religions that were around them. One fabric, one unpolluted faith.

Now, we in the Church may not be required to wear garments of a single fabric, but are we still commanded by God not to incorporate the beliefs and practices of other religions (a philosophy called Pluralism) into Christianity? You bet we are (cf. Romans 4, Galatians, Jude, etc.) So while the physical reminder of pure fabric given to Israel may not carry forward to us today, the spiritual principle behind it certainly does. Now, on to tattoos.

Why do we see the prohibition on tattoos in Leviticus?

One of the physical characteristics of the pagan communities around Israel was that they marked themselves with tattoos and engaged in physical, religiously-motivated, superstitious practices that included the disfigurement of their bodies. For example, when Elijah confronted the false prophets of Baal on Mount Carmel, they "cut themselves according to their custom" when their false god didn't respond to their requests (cf. 1 Kings 18:28).

In forbidding tattoos, God was telling Israel He did not want them to personally possess any physical marks or characteristics that externally resembled the pagan nations. Such a thing would link them visibly to the false religious practices and immoral behaviors of those nations, which ran contrary to God's standards.

What's the spiritual principle that carries forward to us today? In short, "Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect" (Romans 12:2). One way Christians adhere to this mandate is to abstain from externally identifying themselves with any visible signs that would link them to the world, its false religions, and immoral behavior.

Does getting a tattoo today violate this spiritual principle?

Today, it is unlikely a Christian would say it's morally wrong for women to wear pantyhose. However, the history of pantyhose usage can be traced back to prostitutes in Italy hundreds of years ago. It was one of their externally identifying "marks" that told others who they were and what they practiced. Now, if an Italian pastor back then asked the ladies of his congregation to abstain from wearing pantyhose, it would be because he didn't want them externally identified with prostitution and thus mistakenly link them and the Church to a segment of society that practiced gross immorality. In other words, those in the Church should not reflect the world system that opposes God.

The fact is, God calls His people to be separate from the world, and this includes how we live and conduct ourselves from an external facing standpoint. One reason for this is that what's on the outside can oftentimes represent what's on the inside.

So while the literal principles in Leviticus 19 do not apply to us today, the spiritual principles do. We as Christians are to be in the world, but not of the world. Just as a boat is fine when it is in the water but sinks when it becomes of the water, so a Christian is to live in the world but not become a part of the world. This includes external signs or marks that would identify us as being of the world—beyond mere physical imprints on the body.

Some will try to argue that a Christian's tattoo can serve as a witnessing tool or help bridge a gap between them and non-Christians. Such thinking is admirable, but I believe it is the promotion of the pragmatism philosophy, which says if something seems to "work", then it must be right and moral. Using that philosophy, the adherents to the Children of God cult could argue that their "flirty fishing" is moral because their supposed aim is to make new Christians.

It is interesting that the chapter in Leviticus starts off by saying in verse 2: "You shall be holy, for I the LORD your God am holy." "Holy" means being separate, set apart, and refers in Scripture to a separation from sin and the world. This includes giving ourselves to God in every way, including what we do with our bodies. "Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body" (1 Corinthians 6:19-20).

When it comes to tattoos, Christians need to ask themselves if—today—tattoos have become as benign as pantyhose, or if they still represent a subculture whose beliefs and moral practices run contrary to God's Word. If the end of that investigation says such a linkage indeed exists, the prudent stance from a Christian perspective would be to avoid them, and therefore continue to practice the spiritual principle laid down by God for His people in His Word.

Another view by an inked minister: to be taken seriously.

I Repeat, We Must Get the U.S. out of the UN and the UN out of the U.S.

I have made the statement seen above on many occasions over the past years, but I fear we are not a bit closer today than we were the first time I said it. Oh, there have been others who have agreed and carried the demand to new locations and people, but it remains just that; a statement. The only acceptance of any significance in this country comes from Obama and his forty thieves; correct that, he has far more than forty thieves as his co-conspirators agreeing with him and working hand in hand with the corrupt, evil and greedy charlatans ruling the United Nations, but the acceptance referred to above is what comes from dishonest and devious liberal Democrats who follow Obama in lock-step agreement.
That agreement is on the ultimate destruction of America and complete subjugation of all American citizens into the One World’ers and their ultimate goal of domination of everyone on the surface of the earth. And they will do anything in order to complete this task, including death to those who resist.By their own admission, as noted online at UN Watch was established in 1993 about twenty years ago, a non-governmental organization (NGO), based in Geneva, under the Chairmanship of Ambassador Morris B. Abram, a former U. S. Permanent Representative to the United Nations. It participates at the UN as an accredited NGO Special Consultative Status to the UN Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC). UN Watch is affiliated with the American Jewish Committee (AJC). One of its goals is to promote universal human rights and Arab-Israeli peace.

Published on ‘IsraelandStuff.com’ on January 1, 2013 was a listing of the “Top 10 Worst U N Decisions of 2012” By Phillip Pasmanick. The listing was compiled by U. N. Watch. This compilation may help you to understand that U. N. Watch is not necessarily an entity that is soft on UN activities, but will critique when criticism is warranted. The “Decisions” as presented here really are not favorable to the United States.

1.) The very FIRST of the ten total decisions considered “worst” for 2012 is the one involving the election by the UN body of the Sudan to the ECOSOC in spite of its highly critical activities of acts of genocide or deliberate and systematic destruction of whole cultural groups of people. Ironically the ECOSOC oversees human rights for the UN, a highly questionable position for a country involved in genocidal activities. Even more ironic is that the Sudan received more votes for election to ECOSOC than did the United States.

2.) SECOND - The Castro Regime had a shameful role at the UN Human Rights Council in backing Syria in a flagrant disregard for Human Rights when it succeeded in getting the UN to adopt Cuba’s “right to Peace” resolution which endorses “terrorism” at the same time on March 01, 2012.

3.) THREE - The deviousness of Richard Falk as UN investigator of “Israeli violations” even after he was removed from Human Rights Watch in wake of protests over his support for Hamas; his 9-11 conspiracies; and promotion of anti-semitism. Martin Griffiths wrote (to Wikipedia) that Falk described his family background as “assimilationist Jewish with a virtual denial of even the ethnic side of Jewishness”. More recently he has described himself as “an American Jew” and written about his Jewish identity. A man with such deviousness should not be trusted.

4.) FOUR - A UN March 15, 2012 report ridiculed worldwide for lavishing praise on the Qaddafi regime’s human rights record was unanimously adopted today by the 47-nation UN Human Rights Council, with president Laura Dupuy Lasserre overruling the objection made in the plenary by UN Watch. Libya under Qaddafi has documented severe violations of human rights and evidences of war.

5.) FIVE - When the UN starts its slippery slide into depravity, it moves along like lightning bolts. As of November 12, 2012 two dictators were elected to the (I wouldn’t kid you on this) Human Rights Council; the infamous Hugo Chavez of Venezuela and N. Nazarbayev of Kazakhstan. This brings the total of absolute Dictators with membership on the Council originally created to for the protection of Human Rights, to SEVEN! Nice keepers of the peace eh?

6.) SIX - As recorded online at jihadwatch.org, UN adopts 22 resolutions attacking Israel in the General Assembly, compared to 4 in the rest of the world combined in one week beginning December 19, 2012. The 4 resolutions other than against Israel, were one each against Syria, Iran, North Korea and Burma. These 22 anti-Israel resolutions accumulated during a period when Syria was massacring its own people and being sanctioned just ONE time.

7.) Seven - Adopting 0 (zero) UN resolutions for victims of human rights abuse in China, Pakistan, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Zimbabwe, and many other non-democracies.

8.) Eight - Appointing a top official of the UN Human Rights Council, a hero to Holocaust deniers and defends Iranian tyrant Ahmadinejad’s “right to nuclear energy.”

9.) Nine - Celebrating a new “State of Palestine” days after Palestinians in Gaza committed armed aggression by attacking Israel with hundreds of rockets, and while the PA fails to exercise effective control over any part of Gaza or in much of the West Bank.

10.) Ten - Deciding to keep Syria’s Assad as a full member on UNESCO’s human rights committee.

With a United Nations overwhelmingly organized and actively aimed at destroying everything we cherish as a nation, it is sheer folly to continue to send many more billions of our tax dollars to the corrupt and greedy mercenaries that control their activities and belligerent actions taken against us. We not only send far more than our fair share but we receive NOTHING in return and what’s more, our most trusted friend, Israel, is the goal of extermination by this pack of thieves.

Our illegal president pays homage to the UN and is constantly working with them to bring our country to its knees and us to servitude at the hands of these enemies who sit in our country at our expense and danger.

LET’S GET THE UNITED STATES OUT OF THE UN. and LET’S GET THE UN OUT OF THE UNITED STATES.

Let’s Give Up on the Constitution

First, let me say, I do NOT agree with this guy!  But he is a professor of constitutional law at Georgetown University, is the author of the forthcoming book “On Constitutional Disobedience.”

"Opened as Georgetown Law School in 1870, Georgetown Law was the first law school run by a Jesuit institution within the United States."

AS the nation teeters at the edge of fiscal chaos, observers are reaching the conclusion that the American system of government is broken. But almost no one blames the culprit: our insistence on obedience to the Constitution, with all its archaic, idiosyncratic and downright evil provisions.
Consider, for example, the assertion by the Senate minority leader last week that the House could not take up a plan by Senate Democrats to extend tax cuts on households making $250,000 or less because the Constitution requires that revenue measures originate in the lower chamber. Why should anyone care? Why should a lame-duck House, 27 members of which were defeated for re-election, have a stranglehold on our economy? Why does a grotesquely malapportioned Senate get to decide the nation’s fate?

Our obsession with the Constitution has saddled us with a dysfunctional political system, kept us from debating the merits of divisive issues and inflamed our public discourse. Instead of arguing about what is to be done, we argue about what James Madison might have wanted done 225 years ago.

As someone who has taught constitutional law for almost 40 years, I am ashamed it took me so long to see how bizarre all this is. Imagine that after careful study a government official — say, the president or one of the party leaders in Congress — reaches a considered judgment that a particular course of action is best for the country. Suddenly, someone bursts into the room with new information: a group of white propertied men who have been dead for two centuries, knew nothing of our present situation, acted illegally under existing law and thought it was fine to own slaves might have disagreed with this course of action. Is it even remotely rational that the official should change his or her mind because of this divination?

Constitutional disobedience may seem radical, but it is as old as the Republic. In fact, the Constitution itself was born of constitutional disobedience. When George Washington and the other framers went to Philadelphia in 1787, they were instructed to suggest amendments to the Articles of Confederation, which would have had to be ratified by the legislatures of all 13 states. Instead, in violation of their mandate, they abandoned the Articles, wrote a new Constitution and provided that it would take effect after ratification by only nine states, and by conventions in those states rather than the state legislatures.

No sooner was the Constitution in place than our leaders began ignoring it. John Adams supported the Alien and Sedition Acts, which violated the First Amendment’s guarantee of freedom of speech. Thomas Jefferson thought every constitution should expire after a single generation. He believed the most consequential act of his presidency — the purchase of the Louisiana Territory — exceeded his constitutional powers.

Before the Civil War, abolitionists like Wendell Phillips and William Lloyd Garrison conceded that the Constitution protected slavery, but denounced it as a pact with the devil that should be ignored. When Abraham Lincoln issued the Emancipation Proclamation — 150 years ago tomorrow — he justified it as a military necessity under his power as commander in chief. Eventually, though, he embraced the freeing of slaves as a central war aim, though nearly everyone conceded that the federal government lacked the constitutional power to disrupt slavery where it already existed. Moreover, when the law finally caught up with the facts on the ground through passage of the 13th Amendment, ratification was achieved in a manner at odds with constitutional requirements. (The Southern states were denied representation in Congress on the theory that they had left the Union, yet their reconstructed legislatures later provided the crucial votes to ratify the amendment.)

In his Constitution Day speech in 1937, Franklin D. Roosevelt professed devotion to the document, but as a statement of aspirations rather than obligations. This reading no doubt contributed to his willingness to extend federal power beyond anything the framers imagined, and to threaten the Supreme Court when it stood in the way of his New Deal legislation. In 1954, when the court decided Brown v. Board of Education, Justice Robert H. Jackson said he was voting for it as a moral and political necessity although he thought it had no basis in the Constitution. The list goes on and on.
The fact that dissenting justices regularly, publicly and vociferously assert that their colleagues have ignored the Constitution — in landmark cases from Miranda v. Arizona to Roe v. Wade to Romer v. Evans to Bush v. Gore — should give us pause. The two main rival interpretive methods, “originalism” (divining the framers’ intent) and “living constitutionalism” (reinterpreting the text in light of modern demands), cannot be reconciled. Some decisions have been grounded in one school of thought, and some in the other. Whichever your philosophy, many of the results — by definition — must be wrong.

IN the face of this long history of disobedience, it is hard to take seriously the claim by the Constitution’s defenders that we would be reduced to a Hobbesian state of nature if we asserted our freedom from this ancient text. Our sometimes flagrant disregard of the Constitution has not produced chaos or totalitarianism; on the contrary, it has helped us to grow and prosper.
This is not to say that we should disobey all constitutional commands. Freedom of speech and religion, equal protection of the laws and protections against governmental deprivation of life, liberty or property are important, whether or not they are in the Constitution. We should continue to follow those requirements out of respect, not obligation.

Nor should we have a debate about, for instance, how long the president’s term should last or whether Congress should consist of two houses. Some matters are better left settled, even if not in exactly the way we favor. Nor, finally, should we have an all-powerful president free to do whatever he wants. Even without constitutional fealty, the president would still be checked by Congress and by the states. There is even something to be said for an elite body like the Supreme Court with the power to impose its views of political morality on the country.

What would change is not the existence of these institutions, but the basis on which they claim legitimacy. The president would have to justify military action against Iran solely on the merits, without shutting down the debate with a claim of unchallengeable constitutional power as commander in chief. Congress might well retain the power of the purse, but this power would have to be defended on contemporary policy grounds, not abstruse constitutional doctrine. The Supreme Court could stop pretending that its decisions protecting same-sex intimacy or limiting affirmative action were rooted in constitutional text.

The deep-seated fear that such disobedience would unravel our social fabric is mere superstition. As we have seen, the country has successfully survived numerous examples of constitutional infidelity. And as we see now, the failure of the Congress and the White House to agree has already destabilized the country. Countries like Britain and New Zealand have systems of parliamentary supremacy and no written constitution, but are held together by longstanding traditions, accepted modes of procedure and engaged citizens. We, too, could draw on these resources.

What has preserved our political stability is not a poetic piece of parchment, but entrenched institutions and habits of thought and, most important, the sense that we are one nation and must work out our differences. No one can predict in detail what our system of government would look like if we freed ourselves from the shackles of constitutional obligation, and I harbor no illusions that any of this will happen soon. But even if we can’t kick our constitutional-law addiction, we can soften the habit.

If we acknowledged what should be obvious — that much constitutional language is broad enough to encompass an almost infinitely wide range of positions — we might have a very different attitude about the obligation to obey. It would become apparent that people who disagree with us about the Constitution are not violating a sacred text or our core commitments. Instead, we are all invoking a common vocabulary to express aspirations that, at the broadest level, everyone can embrace. Of course, that does not mean that people agree at the ground level. If we are not to abandon constitutionalism entirely, then we might at least understand it as a place for discussion, a demand that we make a good-faith effort to understand the views of others, rather than as a tool to force others to give up their moral and political judgments.

If even this change is impossible, perhaps the dream of a country ruled by “We the people” is impossibly utopian. If so, we have to give up on the claim that we are a self-governing people who can settle our disagreements through mature and tolerant debate. But before abandoning our heritage of self-government, we ought to try extricating ourselves from constitutional bondage so that we can give real freedom a chance.
Louis Michael Seidman, a professor of constitutional law at Georgetown University, is the author of the forthcoming book “On Constitutional Disobedience.”

Still think the Roman Catholic plan for the USA is benevolent?
