'We must consider unilateral Samaria-Judea withdrawal'

Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak stated Wednesday he is in favor of a unilateral Israeli handover of Samaria and Judea to the Palestinian Arabs if the “peace process” remains stalled.
According to the website of the ultra-left Israeli daily Ha’aretz, Barak sees in the newly broadened governing coalition an opportunity for finally making progress in the long-stymied “peace talks” with the Palestinian Arabs.

"We are a coalition of 94 MKs, this is the time to lead a diplomatic process," Barak told an audience at the Tel Aviv University's Institute for National Security Studies.
If it was not possible to reach a permanent agreement with the Arabs, he continued, Israel must be ready to consider “even a unilateral move."

Samaria-Judea – universally labeled with the anti-Israel epithet “the occupied West Bank” – comprises the strategic high terrain dominating Israel’s densely populated and industry-heavy Coastal Plain. Israel’s lone international airport – Ben Gurion – is within shoulder-launched missile range of the Judean foothills.
Samaria-Judea is also the cradle of Israel’s nationhood, and is home to more than 10 percent of Israel’s population (600,000) in 121 towns, villages and outposts.

Barak employed fear mongering to bolster his argument.
"We are on borrowed time. We will reach a wall, and we'll pay the price. People who are now in a coma will then ask how we didn't see [this coming]," he added.

Former Israeli prime minister Ariel Sharon is – ironically – in a coma after overseeing the unilateral disengagement from the Gaza Strip in 2005.

Vatican Scandals With Prophetic Weight?

"The rapid-fire ouster of the chief of the Vatican bank and the arrest of the Pope’s butler have plunged the Vatican into yet another crisis. Were the two events connected? Ettore Gotti Tedeschi, president of the Vatican bank, formally known as the Institute for Works of Religion, was fired last Thursday for a variety of alleged sins, including “progressively erratic behaviour,” by the bank’s board of superintendence. Two days later, Paolo Gabriele, Pope Benedict’s butler since 2006, was arrested for the unauthorized possession of sensitive Vatican documents."

One of worst kept secrets since the end of World War II is that the Vatican Bank is corrupt and acts more like a bank of the Mafioso than the bank of the world's largest and most influential branch of Christianity. So many people have known this fact that this scandal could have broken at any time since the end of World War II. Why hasn't it?

The fact that the new Pope is waiting for Benedict to resign so he can step on to the world scene begs the question, "has the timing of this scandal been planned to bring the current pope down so the new Pope, Number 112 of the St. Malachy prophecy, can step on to the world scene?
We can only follow this story day by day to see how it plays out.

The Pope's butler would normally be a small story, except that his close physical proximity to Pope Benedict XVI might had made him privy to documents which the Pope might have carelessly left laying around his personal residence.

"The firing and the arrest have, at least on the surface, plunged the Vatican into one of its worst crises since Benedict became pontiff in 2005, only to find himself scrambling to clean up the church’s sexual-abuse mess."

Catholic observers fear that this latest scandal may truly damage the historic Roman Catholic faith. This next news story speaks to this possibility. Remember, Catholic faithful have endured much heartache and personal pain for the past century because of all the sex abuse scandals from the priests. This latest scandal just adds fuel to the fire.

NEWS BRIEF: "Vatican says leaks scandal is brutal attack on pope", Reuters News, May 29, 2012
"The Vatican on Tuesday denounced the theft of secret papal documents as a 'brutal' personal attack on Pope Benedict as a powerful group of cardinals hunted more culprits behind the biggest crisis of his pontificate."

This statement makes it sound as though this scandal is being deliberately engineered by high ranking Vatican insiders. If this were the case, we could certainly understand how highly classified documents are now being publicized.

"Vatican deputy secretary of state, Archbishop Angelo Becciu, said in an interview that the publication of stolen documents in a recent book by Italian journalist Gianluigi Nuzzi was a 'criminal' act. It was the first time the paper has reported on the arrest of Benedict's butler nearly a week ago and it reflected the anger in the Holy See over what is seen as a betrayal of Benedict."

How important is this scandal? Can it affect Roman Catholic faithful? Apparently, the answer is an unqualified "yes".

"While denying reports that the butler was merely a pawn in a larger power struggle among clerics in the Holy See, the Vatican has acknowledged that the affair would test the faith of Catholics in their Church. Documents leaked to journalists over several months allege corruption in the Church's vast financial dealings with Italian business including infrastructure contracts awarded at inflated prices."

Great! After learning that extraordinary numbers of Catholic priests have committed heinous sex crimes against both boys and girls and women over the past 100 years, Catholics are now learning that highly placed Vatican officials are just plain financial crooks!

This scandal has prompted some to question the leadership of Pope Benedict himself.
"Italian newspapers, quoting other whistle blowers in the Vatican, said the arrested butler was merely a scapegoat doing the bidding of more powerful figures, punished because the Church did not dare implicate cardinals behind the leaks ... Critics of the pope say a lack of strong leadership has opened the door to infighting among his powerful aides - and potentially to the corruption alleged in the leaked documents."
Therefore, the blame for this current mess might quickly fly up the Vatican chain of command, touching Pope Benedict XVI himself. Pope Benedict XVI has mentioned that he may resign in 2012, claiming that his advanced age was making it impossible to fulfill his responsibilitie correctly. Benedict has said at times that he is "feeling old". Should this scandal show the Pope in a bad light, he might resign, thus opening the door to Pope Number 112 in St. Malachy's prophecy.

This prophecy is reported on in depth in both the book, "Petrus Romanus" and in Doc Marquis' DVD, "2012 & Beyond: Volume 1", both of which are shown above.

This incredible Catholic "prophecy" is being followed to the letter. In 1595, St. Malachy wrote of a vision where he was shown that 111 Popes would arise and serve before the final Pope, 'Peter The Roman', or 'Petrus Romanus', Pope 112.

Doc reports that the description Malachy presents for each 111 Popes is eerily accurate; the characteristics of the "Petrus Romanus" label him the False Prophet (Rev 13:11-18), the Pope who will be in office when Antichrist destroys the Papacy and the Vatican by fire (Rev 17:16)

The current Pope, Benedict XVI, is Pope 111. The world trembles as this very elderly Pope falters in the performance of his office.

The Biblical False Prophet is awaiting in the wings, ready to step out onto the world stage. The new Pope may be younger than is typical and he may pledge to clean up the scandals which perpetually plague the Holy See.

Beleaguered Roman Catholic adherents would welcome such a Pope with open arms.

The Contact

 7 May 2012:  It was not the proverbial 3:00 a.m. phone call, but close enough. And it was not made to the White House, but to my house, which is not white nor is it in DC. It was about 2:30 a.m. on 25 April 2012, and the call itself was somewhat unexpected. I had anticipated the telephone call from my DHS insider much earlier the previous day, but our schedules didn’t synch up. I was traveling on an investigative assignment, while my source was in meetings all day. I had just fallen asleep, and was slumbering no more than 20 minutes when the phone rang.

In most households, a ringing phone at that time of night causes concern for everyone who hears it. In my household, it seems to surprise only my surly, 140 pound light-sleeping German Shepherd. He let out an objective grunt as I stepped over him to take the call in another room. It was “Rosebud,” the code name given of my insider source.

 Just a little bit here about my source and his “super-secret code name.” I’ve known this government insider since 1979, when he first became a municipal patrol officer. He took a job in a bigger city and had a very successful run as a cop. Before retirement and after the events of 9/11, he was tapped by the feds, where he worked in various capacities under the umbrella of DHS. He worked his way up, and suddenly found himself in what he terms the inner sanctum of the “TEC” building. TEC, he explains, is  an acronym for what he calls “The Estrogen Challenged,” which houses the upper echelon of the Department of Homeland Security. I’ll leave it at that.

As far as his code name, it originates from an incident that occurred at the end of the disco era. It is something that we both privately laugh about, but rarely ever talk about. His “code name” is known to him, me, and at the time, a young woman who has since vanished amid the glitter of a disco balls and constant replays of the Bee Gees in a dark nightclub some 32 years ago and has no “cloak and dagger” origins.

But he is real, his position serious, and his knowledge vast. Unfortunately, that’s what makes the whole situation frightening and deadly serious.

The information

It began on Wednesday, 2 May 2012 with a 45-minute interview on TruNews with Rick Wiles when I first disclosed the information I received the previous week from my source. The information I relayed “went viral,” as they say, across the internet.

To support the statements I made during that interview, I am showing my handwritten notes taken contemporaneously during our conversation. My notes consist of two pages and are, at various points,  admittedly difficult to decipher. I ask that points not be deducted for my penmanship given the time of the morning which they were taken

.

According to my source, there is talk among the highest levels of the uppermost echelon of the Department of Homeland Security, which he describes as effectively under the control of Barack Hussein Obama. During this call, he said that the DHS is actively preparing for massive social unrest inside the United States. He then corrected himself, stating that “a civil war” is the more appropriate term. Certain elements of the government are not only expecting and preparing for it, they are actually facilitating it,” stated my source.

“The DHS takes their marching orders from the Obama administration, from Obama himself, but mostly from his un-appointed czars. And Jarrett, especially Valerie Jarrett. Don’t think for a minute that the administration is doing anything to stabilize events in the U.S. They are revolutionaries, and revolutionaries thrive on chaos,” he added.

My source stated that he has not seen things this bad since he began working within DHS. “It’s like they [DHS agency heads] don’t care about what the American people see or feel about what the DHS agencies are doing. They figure that if the average American will put up with being “sexually groped and nuked” just to fly, they’ll accept almost anything. “That’s why their actions are becoming more overt.  ”It’s in your face and the brass actually chuckle about it” said my source.

New Information

Astounded by the information my source provided “going viral,” I spoke to him again early Sunday morning. This was a scheduled telephone call (as noted on page 2 of my notes) based on a high level meeting of DHS personnel that was scheduled for and took place in Chantilly, Virginia on Saturday, 5 May 2012.  He hoped to provide me with more information to supplement that which he already given. Although he was not personally present, his source was. While he would not say who was at the meeting on Saturday or give its precise location, he said that the many of the names would be recognizable. He spoke to his source late Saturday night.

I contacted him on his cellular phone early Sunday morning to get the promised update.

“Geez, nice job on getting the word out about what’s really going on at DHS and in this administration,” were the first words out of his mouth, followed by “thanks a lot.” I asked him why he would be thanking me. “I just wanna tell you that I’m going to have to hire someone to start my car, and I’m surely not going for any rides in small planes in the immediate future,” he said with a bit of nervous laughter. “I hope no one finds out who I am or it’s going to be more than my pension I’ll have to worry about.”

“I can tell you word is getting out that people are starting to wake up, which is causing a lot of ‘pissed off brass.’  I can’t tell if they are more desperate or upset about the exposure, but the tone is starting to become a lot more tense. I hope that we’re having something to do with that,” he added.

With that, he provided me with additional information to supplement that which he already given me on 25 April. For clarity purposes, I have combined the information together from both contacts. The following information includes the updated information provided to me Sunday morning.

Obama the revolutionary

Metaphorically speaking, there’s a revolution going on in the U.S., propped up by three legs. Economic chaos, chaos through racial division, and chaos through class division, all joined by one core element: Barack Hussein Obama and his stable of unelected czars. Obama is using the lessons learned in 1968 as the template for 2012, and many of those who were active in the late 1960′s are now calling the shots for 2012.

“The Obama administration and many of the un-appointed ‘czars,’, either directly or indirectly, are engaged in covert activities with the occupy movement, various labor protests, and other subversive activities inside the U.S.,” stated my source. Using untracked campaign funds, they are paying people to infiltrate the various movements to cause physical destruction of property and disrupt commerce. That began last year, but has increased ten-fold already this year,” stated this source. He added that they are using some lower level DHS agents to make the payments under the context of tracking subversives, but they are the unwitting subversives. “It’s like Fast & Furious” but in the social realm,” he added.

“Obama is using some high profile people as pawns to foment the revolution. I heard several times through very credible sources that [Louis] Farrakhan is on the CIA payroll. Other have been named as well, but I’m not prepared to identify them yet. Farrakhan is to coordinate the Blacks and the Muslims to prepare for riots this summer, using any means necessary.”

“Mentioned at the meeting Saturday were methods to use pawns to simulate the rioting in the Arab Spring countries, but to the benefit of this administration. A controlled chaos thing,” stated my source. They envision rioting starting in the urban areas first, such as New York and other major cities, followed by a disruption of business and commerce. This will allow the DHS to mobilize their various teams into the streets of America without objection of the people,” stated my source.

“They want to restrict travel, if not through high energy prices, then by checkpoints and curfews mandated by rioting and unrest. They understand we are the most well-armed nation in the world, yet they are aware of our vulnerabilities and intend to fully exploit them,” he added. The whole purpose is to keep Obama in office for another term, no matter how unpopular he is, as he is not finished changing our country from a Constitutional Republic. This is the run-up to the 2012 elections, or perhaps causing enough chaos to delay them – indefinitely.”

One statement that rattled me more than anything was that a great number of those already in power, whether in appointed or elected positions, actually want to see Obama stay in power, according to this source. “This is what we’ve been working toward and we’re closer now than we’ve ever been. If we lose now, we might not have another chance.”

This chilling common goal also explains the lack of interest in the Constitutional legitimacy of Obama. It is common knowledge that Obama is not an American, and neither is his agenda. Of course, criticism of his bona-fides feeds into the cries of racism, despite the massive fraud perpetrated on the American people. Party lines are meaningless when the common objective is the revolutionary overtaking of America.

Obama, the professor of Keynesian economics

“The Obama administration is working closely with Bernanke, Geithner and others not to save our economy, but to outright destroy it. He is not the first or only one to try this, but the most effective and most vetted for that purpose. Do you actually think that the fact that Timothy Geithner’s father worked with Obama’s mother in Indonesia was coincidental,” stated my source rhetorically. “What we’re seeing now is the fourth quarter of a game that started long ago, which also currently involves the Clintons. Obama would not be where he is if it were not for the Clintons, and to a lesser extent, Bush, but that’s for  other reasons.  Don’t be fooled, the Clintons never left or lost power,” he added.

“There are file drawers full of papers, heavily guarded papers at the ‘TEC building’  so I can only imagine what’s in them, about international financial dealings going back decades. I do know, or at least I was told, that they involve organizations that are the so-called conspiracy fringe groups, such as the Bilderberg group, the Trilateral Commission, and people including George Soros, Henry Kissinger, and current leaders of big industry. Some are fossils. They’ve been around a long time. Others are up-and-coming. They’ve got one thing in common though, and that is to put in place a global system of governance, including a common currency. Economics is a huge part of this revolution, and they want to replace the dollar, to see it collapse. They expect, that is, they are working toward this very goal, and when this happens, it will cause chaos like never seen before in the history of this country.”

“Why do you think Jon Corzine is not only walking around, but heavily involved in Obama fundraising? They know it’s just a matter of time that Europe will implode economically, and when it does, start counting the days before we see massive hyperinflation and the ultimate collapse of the U.S. dollar,” stated this insider.  ”What will it look like in the streets of America when the general population realizes that there is no money? That’s right, chaos.”

Obama & the planned racial divide

According to this insider, the Trayvon Martin case is just the tip of the iceberg. “You certainly don’t have to be a genius to understand how Obama and his team played the public on this issue, and it’s far from over. But that’s not the sole element of what we’ll see this summer.”

“Remember the shots fired at the White House not too long ago,” asked my source. There was an element of outrage that was squandered, according to ‘team Obama.’  In fact, Obama and some of his closest advisors, especially [Valerie] Jarrett were incredibly angered that the outrage was seemingly tempered. It should have been an opportunity to use our force against the Tea Parties, the gun clingers, the Constitutionalists, and everyone who has complained about Obama. DHS should have stepped in right then, and used that event to start the clampdown,” this source stated about White House comments.

This source stated that from that point on, the DHS must become more responsive and aggressive.

 Watch for a false flag event against Obama or his family, something that will outrage ‘black America.’ It will be carefully choreographed, but executed in a manner that will evoke the ugliest of reactions and create racial chaos in this country that will make the Watts riots, 1968 and the Rodney King riots pale in comparison. That’s the third leg in this.”

The planned end-game

Does Obama look worried about the upcoming elections? Look at his lavish vacations, his limited work schedule, and those with whom he is working.  This is a very dangerous man who has, as his closest advisors, people who have orchestrated the revolutions of the 1960′s. They know the “trigger points” in  America.

The Obama administration, including his czars and along with his closest Progressive supporters, are planning a manufactured insurgency against America. He is using the media to his advantage to garner both sympathy and support for his unfinished goals. He is desperately seeking a way to remain in office, even if it means the surreal prospect of an indefinite postponement of elections – if it can be pulled off. So far, he’s got the support of the majority of the DHS “brass” behind him, according to my source.

“They’re power hungry, and they want to remain in charge,” stated this source.

The “surreal” aspect of suspended elections won’t look so surreal when you see any or all of the “trigger points” take place in the not-so-distant future.

“The end-game plan for America is its destruction as a Constitutional Republic, with the assistance of the agencies under the umbrella of the DHS.”

My source stated one more thing that seemed to tie things together. He urged me to recall the quote by made by Henry Kissinger who was speaking at a Bilderberg meeting at Evian, France, on 21 May 1992:

Today Americans would be outraged if U.N. troops entered Los Angeles to restore order; tomorrow they will be grateful. This is especially true if they were told there was an outside threat from beyond, whether real or promulgated, that threatened our very existence. It is then that all peoples of the world will plead with world leaders to deliver them from this evil. The one thing every man fears is the unknown. When presented with this scenario, individual rights will be willingly relinquished for the guarantee of their well being granted to them by their world government.

That threat need not be from beyond. All it might take is a world of starving, broke and desperate people.

What Makes Us Hurt the Most?

Being Bullied?  Nagged at all the time?   Treated without respect (bein’ dissed)?  Ignored?   Overlooked?  Picked last for a team?  Lied to?  Slandered?  Plotted against? 

BEING DEVALUED IN THE EYES OF OTHERS.- All the above are manifestations of being devalued by someone else.  Feelings of being devalued lead to desperation.  Desperate times lead to desperate measures- runaways- suicide- rebellion – rioting- divorce- murder- war. 

DEVALUATION = lack of love or loving less than self.  “I am more important than you”…  “My ideas are better than your ideas”…  “My values are better than your values” …“ My priorities are better than your priorities”… “They are stupid”… “They’re ugly”… “They are a waste of space”… “They don’t deserve to live”…

James 2:

8.  If ye fulfil the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well:

 9.  But if ye have respect to persons, ye commit sin, and are convinced of the law as transgressors.

We all know how it feels to be devalued by others.  It is especially hurtful when it comes from those we rely on to love us unconditionally...our family and/or close friends.  Church family.

Do we see others as less than ourselves?  Are we devaluing those different from us?

The reality is that many ARE mentally challenged/deficient.  Many DO lack motivation or skill or maturity.

The danger is not that we can and do recognize it… but that we feel superior because of it.

There is a plan of salvation offered in the New Testament…and ONLY one.  Acts 2: 38.  Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

There’s no way around that, but God said in

Hosea 2: 23.  And I will sow her unto me in the earth; and I will have mercy upon her that had not obtained mercy; and I will say to them which were not my people, Thou art my people; and they shall say, Thou art my God.

And

Prov.17:2 .  A wise servant shall have rule over a son that causeth shame, and shall have part of the inheritance among the brethren.

1Cor.4: 5.  Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise of God.

Many who think they have the inside track, and just because they have some doctrines correct and know others do not, think they will be saved and the others won't.  That's how the  Pharisees thought.  Many Acts 2:38 followers are self righteous and judgmental, selfish and unloving.  Many only have the doctrine and none of the fruit, as lost as anybody!  Some of the dearest, most Christ-like people I know, are not yet Acts 2:38 folk, but I would be hard pressed to say they aren't counted among the projected bride!  They may be fabulous servants and not sons...but Prov.17:2 addresses that.  Shameful sons might not inherit. Again, judge nothing before the time.

A literary agent’s promotional brochure from two decades ago declares Barack Obama was “born in Kenya and raised in Indonesia and Hawaii,” according to Breitbart News.

The brochure was created by Acton & Dystel, which was promoting Obama as the author of the never-produced “Journeys in Black and White.”

The report says the biography was dispatched to “business colleagues” in the publishing industry.

“Barack Obama, the first African-American president of the Harvard Law Review, was born in Kenya and raised in Indonesia and Hawaii. The son of an American anthropologist and a Kenyan finance minister, he attended Columbia University and worked as a financial journalist and editor for Business International Corporation. How to recognize Christians from wolves in sheep's clothing:

DECEPTION is a tool of the devil, God is truth.  God's word is truth.  The end does not justify the means.  Christians don't purposely use deception to manipulate people into accepting falsehoods.  Obama again claims to be a "Christian".  So does Oprah. Oprah is NOT a Christian. Claims don't make one a Christian.  Obeying the Word of God, trusting in the blood and life sacrifice of Jesus as our only hope of salvation, and trusting in His word...and obeying the word without compromise is what real Christians do.  Our government is filled with "Christians" who obey Georgetown and the Vatican rather than the bible as authoritative.  They are NOT Christian if they recognize ANYTHING above the unadulterated Word of God.  Church councils and personal feelings do NOT set aside the settled Word of God!

Levi.11: 44a.  For I am the Lord your God: ye shall therefore sanctify yourselves, and ye shall be holy; for I am holy:

To be holy, basically means to be separate...without compromise.

Main line protestants who trust anything more than the Word of God are deceived.

All my Russian brothers and sisters who visit here ( and all Christians), please only trust the true Word of God, and not a state sponsored religion, or one willing to compromise the word of God.  The only way you can know if it's being compromised is to study the word for yourself and not just take the preacher's word for it that he is representing it as it was meant to be.  Only trust preachers who preach only the bible.  I only trust the King James version of the bible because the newer versions are all perverted Westcott and Hort corruptions, according to Gail Riplinger.  For her reasoning go here.

The US Military Wants To 'Microchip' Troops

DARPA is at it again. This time, the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency has announced plans to create nanochips for monitoring troops health on the battlefield.

Kate Knibbs at Mobiledia reports the sensors are targeted at preventing illness and disease, the two causes of most troops medical evacuations.

What seems like a simple way of cutting costs and increasing efficiency has some people concerned that this is the first step in a "computer chips for all" scenario.

Bob Unruh at WND reports one of those opponents, Katherine Albrecht, co-author of Spychips says “It’s never going to happen that the government at gunpoint says, ‘You’re going to have a tracking chip. It’s always in incremental steps. If you can put a microchip in someone that doesn’t track them … everybody looks and says, ‘Come on, it’ll be interesting seeing where we go.'”

She said it was expected that captive audiences, such as prisoners and troops, would be the first subjected to the requirement, which would make it easier for the general populace to accept it as well. “It’s interesting,” she said. “I’m stunned how this younger generation is OK. They don’t see the problem. … ‘Why wouldn’t everyone want to be tracked?’”

But she said Americans will have to decide to say no to incremental advances, or by the time officials finally roll out the idea of chips for all, whether they want them or not, it will be too late to decide. “The analogy that I draw is [that of a train], and if I’m in California and I do not want to wind up in New City, every stop brings me closer,” she said. “At some point I have to get off the train.”

DARPA is calling the effort "a truly disruptive innovation," that could help the U.S. fight healthier and more efficiently than its adversaries.

Evolution Pushed in Roman Catholic Bibles for Latin America

We sometimes get so caught up with the ways in which God’s Word is being compromised in North America that we forget about what’s happening in other countries! An AiG supporter sent us a Roman Catholic Bible from Argentina, along with a letter expressing her concerns. The Bible is in Spanish, but this supporter just happens to be a certified Spanish–English translator. She wrote that this particular Bible, released by the Sociedad Bíblica Católica Internacional (SOBICAIN) and revised in 2005, is the “official” Bible used in Latin American countries today.

The number of references in this Bible to evolutionary ideas and the denial of biblical authority in this Bible is staggering. I wanted to make you aware of the compromise that’s going on in the Catholic church in Latin American countries. It’s important to note that these are just some of the areas of compromise in this Bible.
The introduction to Genesis insists, “Genesis means ‘Origin,’ but in the first chapters we should not look for a scientific document about the origins of the universe.” The introduction states the following:

We should not look here for historical or scientific data, since those who composed this chapter wanted to teach very different realities. … It is the Word of God, but let’s not read the text as if it were giving us “the” Christian understanding of the universe.

If the Genesis creation account is not “the” Christian understanding of the universe, then what is? Actually, this Bible translation answers that question as well—it says the best understanding for the universe is evolution!

The universe, say the authors in their introduction, took “millions and billions of years” to form. After the authors describe how evolutionary ideas came about, they write, “Where are we trying to get with this? Simply that a vision of the world in evolution fits perfectly with the Christian notion of time and of the ‘ages’ of history.”

I’m not sure what “Christian notion of time” they are referring to, but it certainly isn’t the Creation Week of Genesis 1. These commentators sound like they’re promoting the day-age theory or something like it.
The authors continue, stating that “Thousands of generations were necessary for our humanity to appear.” They pose the question, “When and how did man appear?” Of course, they don’t turn to the One who was there when man appeared for the answer. Instead, they turn to evolutionary beliefs.

No one can answer that question precisely. During long centuries man almost did not change the face of the earth. His lifestyle and the creations of his spirit barely distinguished him from the anthropomorphic primates from which he came.

There you have it: man evolved from primates. Evolution may not be able to answer precisely where man came from, but God’s Word can, because God was there! He created Adam from the dust and Eve from Adam’s rib.
So far, we’ve not even made it past Genesis 1:1 in this Bible, and we’ve already seen millions of years and molecules-to-man evolution promoted. But the compromise doesn’t stop there. Look at what these authors have to say about the Fall in Genesis 3.

This story does not intend to teach that the sin of the first ancestor destroyed an ideal state that was then present; instead it indicates what things could be like if men did not fall into a certain temptation.

In regard to the Flood account in Genesis, the authors note, “Again, a beautiful story, an ancient tale from the times of Solomon, to which the priests of the 4th century added passages less interesting that we have put in italics.”

The AiG supporter who translated this for us writes, “Notice that the words they put into italics constitute the entire account of the wickedness of mankind, God’s judgment on mankind, His instructions for Noah to build an Ark, His warnings regarding the upcoming Flood, and His covenant with Noah.” These are supposedly the “less interesting” passages? It’s virtually the entire account!

What’s more—the authors indicate in their introduction to Genesis that the Genesis accounts were actually taken from Babylonian myths and poems and “profoundly transformed” into what we have today. No wonder they consider the Flood account not very “interesting”—they don’t seem to believe it actually happened!

At the end of the book of Genesis, these authors included supplemental notes. Under the section titled “The Bible and Evolution,” they write the following:

The story does not pretend to tell us how the human race began, and for that reason it cannot be in conflict with science. What has the pre-history of the human race been? The Word of God does not have the answer. God leaves that for us to investigate, and that’s what scientists do. … God wanted the evolution of living things to give origin to Man, who, in reality, is first in His plan. Unfortunately, the compromise continues in this Bible—but the above gives you a taste of what the notes in this Bible teach!

It’s sad to see that these commentators are willing to trust man’s pagan religion of evolution and millions of years over the Word of God, and will even go so far as to say that God’s Word “does not have the answer” to the origin of man.

I’ll never forget what my father used to say about study Bibles. He would say, “When you use a study Bible, always remember the notes are not inspired like the text—and the text is always the commentary on the notes!” Well—applying this to the Roman Catholic Study Bible referenced above shows it fails because the text of Genesis judges the notes to be erroneous!

Sadly, the belief in evolution and millions of years has permeated churches and cultures throughout the world. What a reminder that we need to see AiG resources and teaching in other countries to counter the false teachings of the culture and much of the church.
