Shocking: Muslims Are Now Declaring Erdogan As God

By Shoebat Foundation on March 30, 2015 in Featured, General

As shocking as it may be, Erdogan is being proclaimed as God amongst diehard leaders in Turkey. And if in doubt, read this (link here) Erdogan proclaimed himself as God.

Everyday I wake up I am not just shocked at what I find in my researches on Erdogan of Turkey, but amazed in awe how closer this man is beginning to mimic what the biblical prophets of old declared as The Antichrist proclaiming himself to be God in 2 Thessalonians 2.

As shocking as you just read it, wait till you read this article by Mustafa Akyol (a columnist for Al-Monitor’s Turkey Pulse, the Turkish Hurriyet Daily News, The International New York Times and The Wall Street Journal) and be amazed that reputable writers are now documenting that Erdogan is literally viewed by many Muslims as “God”. You heard it correctly.

Aykol writes of Erdogan’s cult of personality:

“In a recent book, Recep Tayyip Erdogan: The Sun of the Age,” Aykol writes “proudly gives him titles that only belong to deity which would sound bizarre, if not heretical”.

Indeed, I am not sure if Aykol is aware, to the Wahhabist Muslim this is true, but not the Sufi Muslim who believes in the Sufi doctrine of “Fana” in which man becomes God. Aykol adds:

“In 2011, an AKP deputy declared, “Even touching Erdogan is a form of worship,” and in 2014 another AKP deputy proclaimed that Erdogan “carries all the attributes of Allah in himself.”

“The Sun of the Age,” and “carries all the attributes of Allah in himself” and “Even touching Erdogan is a form of worship,” qualifies Erdogan to fit what none of us Christians who would ever doubt what was already proclaimed in the Bible:

Now concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered together to him, we ask you, brothers, not to be quickly shaken in mind or alarmed, either by a spirit or a spoken word, or a letter seeming to be from us, to the effect that the day of the Lord has come. Let no one deceive you in any way. For that day will not come, unless the rebellion comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction, who opposes and exalts himself against every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, proclaiming himself to be God. – 2 Thessalonians 2 1-4

Religion of Peace?

Now can we stop defending Muslims? Islam is the religion. Muslim means, one who is submissive to Islam. A "good" Muslim, submissive to Islam, by their own scriptures, is by definition a terrorist & murderer.

Koran 2:191        “Slay the unbelievers wherever you find them’”

Koran 3:28           “Muslims must not take the infidels as friends.”

Koran 3:85           “Any religion other than Islam is not acceptable.”

Koran 5:33           “Maim and crucify the infidels if they criticize Islam.”

Koran 8:12           “Terrorize and behead those who believe in scriptures other than the Koran.”

Koran 8:60           “Muslims must muster all weapons  to terrorize the infidels.”

Koran 8:65           “The unbelievers are stupid; urge the Muslims to fight them.”

Koran 9:5             “When opportunity arises kill the infidels wherever you find them.”

Koran 9:30           “The Jews and Christians are perverts, fight them.”

Koran 9:123        “Make war on the infidels living in your neighborhood.”

Koran 22:19        “Punish the unbelievers with garments of fire, hooked iron rods, boiling water, melt their skin and bellies.”

Koran 47:4           “Do not hanker for peace with the infidels; behead them when you catch them.”

BREAKING: US Pacific Fleet Commander Drops Bombshell About Obama and Muslim Brotherhood

Sunday, January 25th, 2015

It’s pretty bad when a former commander-in-chief of the U.S. Pacific Fleet feels compelled to write a telling piece as to why his former boss, President Obama, is on the verge of single-handedly handing over the fate of American citizens to radical Islamists.

Admiral James A. “Ace” Lyons, a 36-year Navy officer, wrote the column for Breitbart, which is beyond shocking and infuriating. Coming from a man who often reported directly to the White House and was responsible for a long list of victories, both diplomatic and physical, Lyons is about as credible as a source could ever hope to be.

The big news over the past few weeks was Obama’s no-show for the massive march in solidarity that took place in Paris with forty other world leaders in attendance. Obama’s absence was nothing short of a message, albeit subtle, to the Islamic nation that as long as he’s king, they’re free to advance their radical agenda.

Lyons brought to light a shocking number of instances over the course of Obama’s time in office when he has given a virtual green light to radical Islamists and has completely reversed America’s stance in the Middle East, at least during the current administration. (H/T Breitbart)

One instance he wrote about was when Obama showed his support for the Islamic uprisings that were eventually known as the “Arab Spring.” He pointed to a frightening statement Obama made during a 2012 UN Assembly where he declared, “that the future must not belong to those who slander the Prophet of Islam.”

The Arab Spring was not a movement of freedom and democracy, rather, it was an obvious awakening for radical Islamists across the Middle East and the start of a revolution against the West.

Another glaring issue that still plagues U.S. military leaders today is the fact that we essentially changed teams in the Global War on Terror. Instead of aligning with important allies in the region, we began backing militias who are aligned with Al Qaeda and the Muslim Brotherhood.

The Muslim Brotherhood, a group which Obama is quite familiar with and even friendly toward, have already began the process of accomplishing their goal to bring the U.S. to its knees and infiltrate all levels of U.S. government.

Because Obama has embraced this radical group, who operate under the guise of the front group CAIR in the U.S., they’ve managed to take top positions of leadership and influence throughout the U.S. intelligence community – even going as far as directing the removal of negative references to Islam in every training manual used by government agents and law enforcement.

The psychological operation they’re running against the U.S. is powerful and effective, to say the least.

It doesn’t appear that much will change as long as Obama is president and the GOP is still controlled by Obama’s Republican puppet, Rep. John Boehner. So until then, we can hope for good men such as Rep. Trey Gowdy, Allen West and a handful of other no-nonsense leaders to keep America from completely succumbing to the growing shadow of radical Islam.

We salute Admiral Lyons for his willingness to expose his former boss for American citizens to see.

Allen West: “Barack Hussein Obama is an Islamist”

http://conservativetribune.com/allen-west-obama-an-islamist/

Although he claims to be a Christian, many have argued for years that President Barack Obama is secretly a Muslim, despite the fact that his domestic policy agenda clearly indicates his secular humanist philosophy.

However, that does not mean that the president cannot be an Islamist–one who supports fundamental Islam. In fact, it’s hard to look objectively at his foreign policy without reaching that conclusion. His support of Foreign Terrorist Organization Hamas in its barbaric attacks against Israel is one obvious example–but only one of many.

Still, in this age of political correctness, many might hesitate to pin such a label on the president. Unless you’re Allen West.

According to the Daily Caller, West recently said just that.

West says it’s the only logical way that he can find to explain many of Obama’s foreign policy decisions.Top of Form

Bottom of Form

The retired U.S. Army lieutenant colonel cites six examples of Obama’s Islamist foreign policy, including his support in Egypt for the Muslim Brotherhood–the group from which Hamas and al-Qaeda originated.

Obama also recently lifted a 30-year-old ban that prohibited Libyan nationals from attending flight schools or nuclear science programs in the United States, which West points to as further evidence of his Islamist bent.

“The pivot away from the Middle East seems to be nothing more than an opportunity to enable Islamists and their goals,” the former Florida congressman wrote in a recent column. “The only plausible explanation for many actions taken by President Obama and his administration is that they are working counter to the security of the United States of America.”

West could be right, although his claims of such wanton treason seem a bit extreme. On the other hand, so are this president’s actions in ignoring the best interests of America both at home and abroad. And West is certainly not alone in his belief that Obama is orchestrating these crises.

There is, however, one other plausible explanation. We should remember that, prior to his five years in the White House, President Obama had essentially zero executive experience.

He may simply not have the first clue about what he’s doing.

Muslim Student Challenges Jewish Professor, He Shuts Her Up On The Spot

September 12, 2014

Editor-In-Chief of NewsReal Blog, David Horowitz gave lecture at UC San Diego to combat the ‘Muslim Students Association’s Israeli Apartheid Week’, what some are referring to ‘Hitler Youth Week’. During the question & answer portion of the talk, David had an interesting and bone-chilling encounter with a member of the MSA. He then went ahead to reveal the real intention of her visit to the meeting.

What happens in this video is so chilling, it feels almost like its scripted and that it could be in a movie. Wait for her last 2 words. They are stunningly racist and extremely hateful.

As stated by David Swindle over at NewsReal Blog, whats shocking is not the fact that she holds the views but rather she is so willing to admit it.

Watch the chilling confrontation below:

This is the reality of what’s happening in America currently. Not only is this happening in America, but it has been happening for decades in the UK, which is the largest growing muslim population currently (if you weren’t aware). We are in battle with ‘Islamic Nazis’, as David Swindle calls them, who openly and constantly call for another holocaust.

If you aren’t convinced that is a totalitarian enemy that seeks to overtake the current culture of America, you are living in a cave.

Wake up, America.

The enemy is at your doorstep. Fight vigilantly, and do everything with truth and understanding. Do not fall for what liberals are calling ‘tolerance’.

This backwards ‘tolerance’ is disarming what America stands for. Don’t just sit in disgust or disagreements. Set aside politics and bad together to rid the world of evil like this.

This isn’t about politics, it’s about what’s right.

The Covert Origins of ISIS

found here:
http://scgnews.com/the-covert-origins-of-isis

On every level, no matter how you cut it, ISIS is a product of U.S. government's twisted and decrepit foreign policy.

Now all of this may seem contradictory to you as you watch the drums of war against ISIS begin to beat louder and the air strikes against them are gradually widened http://www.wjla.com/articles/2014/08/president-obama-considers-possible-...). Why would the U.S. help a terrorist organization get established, only to attack them later?

Well why did the CIA put Saddam Hussein in power in 1963?, Why did the U.S. government back Saddam in 1980 when he launched a war of aggression against Iran, even though they knew that he was using chemical weapons? Why did the U.S. fund and arm Islamic extremists in Afghanistan against the Soviets?

There's a pattern here if you look closely. This is a tried and true geopolitical strategy.

Step 1: Build up a dictator or extremist group which can then be used to wage proxy wars against opponents. During this stage any crimes committed by these proxies are swept under the rug. [Problem]

Step 2: When these nasty characters have outlived their usefulness, that's when it's time to pull out all that dirt from under the rug and start publicizing it 24/7. This obviously works best when the public has no idea how these bad guys came to power.[Reaction]

Step 3: Finally, when the public practically begging for the government to do something, a solution is proposed. Usually the solution involves military intervention, the loss of certain liberties, or both. [Solution]

ISIS is extremely useful. They have essentially done Washington dirty work by weakening Assad. In 2014, while the news cycle has focused almost exclusively on Ukraine and Russia, ISIS made major headway in Syria, and as of August they already controlled 35% of the country.

Since ISIS largely based in Syria, this gives the U.S. a pretext to move into Syria. Sooner or later the U.S. will extend the airstrikes into Assad's backyard, and when they do U.S. officials are already making it clear that both ISIS and the Syrian government will be targeted. That, after all, is the whole point. Washington may allow ISIS to capture a bit more territory first, but the writing is on the wall, and has been for some time now.

The Obama administration has repeatedly insisted that this will never lead to boots on the ground, however, the truth of the matter is that anyone who understands anything about military tactics knows full well that ISIS cannot be defeated by airstrikes alone. In response to airstrikes ISIS will merely disperse and conceal their forces. ISIS isn't an established state power which can be destroyed by knocking out key government buildings and infrastructure. These are guerrilla fighters who cut their teeth in urban warfare.

To significantly weaken them, the war will have to involve ground troops, but even this is a lost cause. U.S. troops could certainly route ISIS in street to street battles for some time, and they might even succeed in fully occupying Syria and Iraq for a number of years, but eventually they will have to leave, and when they do, it should be obvious what will come next.

The puppets that the U.S. government has installed in the various countries that they have brought down in recent years have without exception proven to be utterly incompetent and corrupt. No one that Washington places in power will be capable of maintaining stability in Syria. Period.

Right now, Assad is the last bastion of stability in the region. He is the last chance they have for a moderate non-sectarian government and he is the only hope of anything even remotely resembling democracy for the foreseeable future. If Assad falls, Islamic extremist will take the helm, they will impose shari'ah law, and they will do everything in their power to continue spreading their ideology as far and wide as they can.

If the world truly wants to stop ISIS, there is only one way to do it:
1. First and foremost, the U.S. government and its allies must be heavily pressured to cut all support to the rebels who are attempting to topple Assad. Even if these rebels that the U.S. is arming and funding were moderate, and they're not, the fact that they are forcing Assad to fight a war on multiple fronts, only strengthens ISIS. This is lunacy.

2. The Syrian government should be provided with financial support, equipment, training and intelligence to enable them to turn the tide against ISIS. This is their territory, they should be the ones to reclaim it.

Now obviously this support isn't going to come from the U.S. or any NATO country, but there are a number of nations who have a strategic interest in preventing another regime change and chaotic aftermath. If these countries respond promptly, as in right now, they could preempt a U.S. intervention, and as long this support does not include the presence of foreign troops, doing so will greatly reduce the likelihood of a major confrontation down the road.

3. The U.S. government and its allies should should be aggressively condemned for their failed regime change policies and the individuals behind these decisions should be charged for war crimes. This would have to be done on an nation by nation level since the U.N. has done nothing but enable NATO aggression. While this may not immediately result in these criminals being arrested, it would send a message. This can be done. Malaysia has already proven this by convicting the Bush administration of war crimes in abstentia.

Guess Which American President Will Keynote Huge Brotherhood-Backed Muslim Convention?

At least one convention speaker openly supports Hamas...
Norvell RoseAugust 27, 2014
http://www.westernjournalism.com/

The Islamic Society of North America (ISNA), the nation’s largest Muslim group, is holding its annual convention this coming weekend in Detroit…just down the road from Dearborn, MI, with a very heavy Arab Muslim population.

The reported keynote speaker for this Muslim gathering will be none other than former President Jimmy Carter, known for his cavorting with tyrants and dictators, as well as his harsh criticism of Israel — so harsh that some have labelled Carter an anti-Semite.

Among the convention’s presentations is a session entitled, “Generations Rise: Elevating Muslim-American Culture”, which is also the theme of the conference.

According to research provided by discoverthenetworks.org, the ISNA has close ties with the Muslim Brotherhood, an Islamist organization whose five-part slogan is, “Allah is our objective; the Qur’an is the Constitution; the Prophet is our leader; jihad is our way; death for the sake of Allah is our wish.”

As author and terrorism expert Steven Emerson puts it, ISNA “grew out of the Muslim Students Association, which … was founded by Brotherhood members.” Indeed, Muslim Brothers would dominate ISNA’s leadership throughout its early years, when the Society was highly dependent upon Saudi funding.

The Independent Sentinel reports that other convention speakers to address the gathering alongside Jimmy Carter will be:

Hassan Qazwini, Imam of The Islamic Center of America, will speak. An extremely influential Shi’a religious leader, he openly supports Hamas and Hezbollah. He had a close relationship with Ahmadinejad.

Another speaker Zaid Shakir, former Muslim chaplain at Yale University, does not believe Muslims can accept the legitimacy of the existing American order. He claims that organizations like Hamas and al Qaida are pursuing legitimate objectives.

Dr. Jamal Badawi, a former Board of Directors member of The Muslim Brotherhood in the U.S.

Remember how Jimmy Carter was supposed to be a Christian? Still believe it?

From "THE ISLAMIC ANTICHRIST" by Joel Richardson, pg. 144

Mawlana Sayid Abul Ala Mawdudi was an Islamic scholar from the Indian subcontinent. His sermons (khutbat) and writings are world renowned, and he is viewed throughout the Islamic world as one of Islam’s greatest scholars. Here is what he had to say about Islam and global domination.

he world, and Muslim nations are not like normal nations. Muslim nations are very special because they have a command from Alla to rule the entire world and to be over every nation in the world.”

Mawdudi explains Islam’s goals and purpose:

“Islam is a revolutionary faith that comes to destroy any government made by man. Islam doesn’t look for a nation to be in a better condition than another nation. Islam doesn’t care about the land or who owns the land. The goal of Islam is to rule the entire world and submit all of mankind to the faith of Islam. Any nation or power that gets in the way of that goal, Islam will fight and destroy. In order to fulfill that goal, Islam can use every power available every way it can be used to bring worldwide revolution. This is Jihad.”

This is the Discussion on Islam vs. Radical Islam Many Americans Have Been Waiting To Hear

At a Heritage panel on Benghazi, Brigitte Gabriel, the founder and CEO of ACT! for America, didn’t hold much back when she spoke about a topic that has been on the minds of many lately.

A law student asked Gabriel, essentially, about the effects of the war on terrorism on the millions of Muslims who are not terrorists or jihadists, as well as why the U.S. feels it has the right to attack jihadists for their anti-American ideology.

Gabriel’s response – which caused the audience to erupt in cheers – clearly and pointedly acknowledged the difference between violent and non-violent Muslims and made a solid yet respectable case for why the U.S. can and should seek out radical jihadists.

However, Washington Post columnist Dana Milbank wasn’t having it. Milbank absolutely blasted the panel session as having “deteriorated into the ugly taunting of a woman in the room who wore an Islamic head covering.”

Pope Francis makes his first official visit to the Holy Land

The Telegraph

Pontiff uses his first official trip to the Middle East to call for urgent steps to end Syria's civil war, in a trip meant to reassure the region's dwindling Christian population

Pope Francis began his first visit as pope to the Holy Land by praising Jordan's efforts "to seek lasting peace for the entire region".
"This great goal urgently requires that a peaceful solution be found to the crisis in Syria, as well as a just solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict," he said.
More than 160,000 people have been killed in Syria's conflict and millions have fled to neighbouring countries, including Jordan.
After meeting King Abdullah and saying a Mass in an Amman stadium, the pontiff will meet some of those Syrian refugees in Bethany on the Jordan, the place where according to tradition Jesus was baptised, as well as others who fled violence in Iraq.

Pope Francis celebrates Mass at Ammon Stadium

Conflict across the region, including the Arab revolts of recent years and the civil war in Syria, has accelerated a historic decline in its Christian community.
In Israel and the occupied West Bank, where the pope will travel on Sunday and Monday, more Palestinian Christians are looking to leave, accusing Israel of eroding their economic prospects and hobbling their freedom of movement.
Francis, leader of the world's 1.2 billion Roman Catholics, will also use the trip to appeal to members of all religions to work together for peace.
"Religious freedom is in fact a fundamental human right and I cannot fail to express my hope that it will be upheld throughout the Middle East and the entire world," he said.
Technically, the main reason for the trip is for Francis and the spiritual leader of the world's Orthodox Christians to mark the 50th anniversary of a historic meeting in Jerusalem by their predecessors which ended 900 years of Catholic-Orthodox estrangement.
That highlight will come on Sunday, when Francis and Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew I preside over a joint prayer service in the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, where Christians believe Jesus was crucified and resurrected.
At the Jordanian stadium where Pope Francis said Mass on Saturday, thousands of people cheered the news of his arrival in Amman.
But alongside their celebrations, some expressed fears for their future in a region where Christianity is rooted.
Thamer Boulus, a 45-year-old Iraqi teacher, said he fled the city of Mosul with his family because he was receiving death threats as a Christian." I want to immigrate anywhere there is safety for me and my family. Religious extremism is threatening Christians," he said.

Pope Francis gives a speech at the Royal Palace (AFP)

On Sunday morning Pope Francis flies by helicopter to Bethlehem in the Israeli-occupied West Bank, making a six-hour visit to what the Vatican's official programme calls "the State of Palestine," a terminology Israel rejects.
Francis will spend Monday in Jerusalem, visiting the grand mufti of Jerusalem and Israel's chief rabbis separately.
He'll also pray at the Western Wall and visit the Holocaust memorial at Yad Vashem and will become the first pope to lay a wreath of flowers on Mount Herzl, named for the founder of modern Zionism. He returns to the Vatican just before midnight Monday night.
In 2012, the Vatican angered Israel by supporting a vote in the United Nations General Assembly to grant Palestinians de facto statehood recognition.
Israel argues such a move should only come through negotiations.

Pope Francis waves to the faithful as he arrives at Amman International Stadium (REUTERS)

Palestinians see the pope's visit, and the fact that he is flying in directly from Jordan instead of going through Israel's security barrier from Jerusalem, as a major morale boost. Jordan, a majority of whose population is of Palestinian origin, signed a peace accord with Israel 20 years ago.
To underscore his conviction that all three great monotheistic faiths can live together in the region and help to tackle the political stalemate, Francis has enlisted a rabbi and an Islamic leader to be part of a travelling papal delegation for the first time.
The two – Rabbi Abraham Skorka and Omar Abboud, director of the Institute for Religious Dialogue in Buenos Aires – are friends from when Francis was cardinal in his native Argentina.
Their presence is "an extremely strong and explicit signal" about the importance of inter-religious dialogue in the region, Vatican spokesman Father Federico Lombardi said.
Pope Francis, the first non-European pontiff in 1,300 years, will head on to Israel on Sunday night for a 32-hour visit packed with 16 events.
Threats to Christians have been scrawled by suspected Jewish radicals on Church property in the Holy Land. One read: "Death to Arabs and Christians and all those who hate Israel."
"Their writings desecrate our religious symbols. They are written on walls of churches, monasteries," Archbishop Fouad Twal, Jerusalem's top Catholic official, said in Amman.
"We want these perpetrators to be put to justice and we want to know who is behind these extremist groups. They sour the peaceful atmosphere we want to create for the Holy Father."
Israeli security forces, fearing that Jewish militants might carry out a major action against the Christian population or institutions, issued restraining orders against several Jewish right-wing activists for the duration of the pope's trip.
The last papal pilgrimage to the Holy Land was in 2009 by Francis's predecessor, Pope Benedict.
The Vatican spokesman had suggested that with such a grueling schedule, Francis might not have the strength for an on-board press conference on the return flight from Israel. Francis, 77, who has only one full lung and has battled a cold and fatigue that forced him to cancel some recent appointments, set the record straight at the start of the trip.
"One of you said a press conference wouldn't be possible because this is a 'deathly' trip," he told reporters on board. "But returning home, I intend to have the press conference."
He then greeted reporters one by one - and even posed for a "selfie."

Compare and contrast: 40 Obama quotes on Islam and Christianity

Posted on April 18, 2014 by Joe Newby

http://www.conservativefiringline.com/compare-contrast-40-obama-quotes-islam-christianity/

Since his rise to power, a number of people have wondered whether Barack Obama is a Christian or a Muslim.  A poll once showed that about 18 percent believe he is a Muslim, even though the Democrat-media complex tells us he is a Christian.

We haven’t received a press release from the Almighty telling us one way or the other, but a post at Now the End Begins pulled together a list of 40 quotes that are quite telling.  20 are Obama quotes on Islam and 20 are Obama quotes on Christianity.
We’ve put together a summary for you, but the original blog has all the quotes, along with links to each one for reference.

Here’s the summary –
Obama on Islam:

1. “The future must not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam”
2. “The sweetest sound I know is the Muslim call to prayer”

3. “We will convey our deep appreciation for the Islamic faith, which has done so much over the centuries to shape the world — including in my own country.”
4. “As a student of history, I also know civilization’s debt to Islam.”

5. “Islam has a proud tradition of tolerance.”
6. “Islam has always been part of America”

7. “we will encourage more Americans to study in Muslim communities”
8. “These rituals remind us of the principles that we hold in common, and Islam’s role in advancing justice, progress, tolerance, and the dignity of all human beings.”

9. “America and Islam are not exclusive and need not be in competition. Instead, they overlap, and share common principles of justice and progress, tolerance and the dignity of all human beings.”
10. “I made it clear that America is not – and will never be – at war with Islam.”

11. “Islam is not part of the problem in combating violent extremism – it is an important part of promoting peace.”
12. “So I have known Islam on three continents before coming to the region where it was first revealed”

13. “In ancient times and in our times, Muslim communities have been at the forefront of innovation and education.”
14. “Throughout history, Islam has demonstrated through words and deeds the possibilities of religious tolerance and racial equality.”

15. “Ramadan is a celebration of a faith known for great diversity and racial equality”
16. “The Holy Koran tells us, ‘O mankind! We have created you male and a female; and we have made you into nations and tribes so that you may know one another.’”

17. “I look forward to hosting an Iftar dinner celebrating Ramadan here at the White House later this week, and wish you a blessed month.”
18. “We’ve seen those results in generations of Muslim immigrants – farmers and factory workers, helping to lay the railroads and build our cities, the Muslim innovators who helped build some of our highest skyscrapers and who helped unlock the secrets of our universe.”

19. “That experience guides my conviction that partnership between America and Islam must be based on what Islam is, not what it isn’t. And I consider it part of my responsibility as president of the United States to fight against negative stereotypes of Islam wherever they appear.”
20. “I also know that Islam has always been a part of America’s story.”

Compare those to 20 of Obama quotes on Christianity:
1. “Whatever we once were, we are no longer a Christian nation”

2. “We do not consider ourselves a Christian nation.”
3. “Which passages of scripture should guide our public policy?  Should we go with Leviticus, which suggests slavery is OK and that eating shellfish is an abomination?  Or we could go with Deuteronomy, which suggests stoning your child if he strays from the faith?”

4. “Even those who claim the Bible’s inerrancy make distinctions between Scriptural edicts, sensing that some passages – the Ten Commandments, say, or a belief in Christ’s divinity – are central to Christian faith, while others are more culturally specific and may be modified to accommodate modern life.”
5. “The American people intuitively understand this, which is why the majority of Catholics practice birth control and some of those opposed to gay marriage nevertheless are opposed to a Constitutional amendment to ban it. Religious leadership need not accept such wisdom in counseling their flocks, but they should recognize this wisdom in their politics.”

6. From Obama’s book, The Audacity of Hope: “I am not willing to have the state deny American citizens a civil union that confers equivalent rights on such basic matters as hospital visitation or health insurance coverage simply because the people they love are of the same sex—nor am I willing to accept a reading of the Bible that considers an obscure line in Romans to be more defining of Christianity than the Sermon on the Mount.”
7. Obama’s response when asked what his definition of sin is: “Being out of alignment with my values.”

8. “If all it took was someone proclaiming I believe Jesus Christ and that he died for my sins, and that was all there was to it, people wouldn’t have to keep coming to church, would they.”
9. “This is something that I’m sure I’d have serious debates with my fellow Christians about. I think that the difficult thing about any religion, including Christianity, is that at some level there is a call to evangelize and prostelytize.
