What Do They Believe-Wiccans-Witchcraft

Not all witches are Wiccan, but all Wiccans are witches. Not all Christians are Baptists…

Beginning: No one founder, Wicca has it’s roots in 19th century Britain. It was partly inspired by Margaret Murray (1862-1963) and founded (as a church) by Gerald Gardner (1884-1964) in 1939.

Witchcraft: Thanks to archaeological discoveries, we now have basis to believe that the origins of our belief system can be traced even further back to the Paleolithic peoples who worshipped a Hunter God and a Fertility Goddess. With the discovery of these cave paintings, estimated to be around 30,000 years old, depicting a man with the head of a stag, and a pregnant woman standing in a circle with eleven other people, it can reasonably be assumed that Witchcraft is one of the oldest belief systems known in the world today. These archetypes are clearly recognized by Wiccan as our view of the Goddess and God aspect of the supreme creative force and predate Christianity by roughly 28,000 years making it a mere toddler in the spectrum of time as we know it. The Celtic Connection, wicca.com

Hunter God and Fertility Goddess- Nimrod and Semiramis (with Tammuz= origin of the trinity)

Ge. 10: 8. And Cush begat Nimrod: he began to be a mighty one in the earth.
9. He was a mighty hunter before the Lord: wherefore it is said, Even as Nimrod the mighty hunter before the Lord.
10. And the beginning of his kingdom was Babel, and Erech, and Accad, and Calneh, in the land of Shinar.

The God of the Witches, chapter 1, “The Horned God”, Margaret Murray
“The horned man is drawn on the upper part of the wall of the cave, below and around him are representations of animals painted in the masterly manner characteristic of the Palaeolithic artist. It seems evident from the relative position of all the figures that the man is dominant and that he is in the act of performing some ceremony in which the animals are concerned. The ceremony appears to consist of a dance with movements of the hands as well as the feet. It is worth noting that though the pictures of the animals are placed where they can easily be seen by the spectator the horned man can only be viewed from that part of the cavern which is most difficult of access. This fact suggests that a great degree of sanctity was attached to this representation, and that it was purposely placed where it was screened from the gaze of the vulgar.”

“A godling, who is found in all parts of Babylonia and at all periods of her history, is a two−horned male
figure, known as Enkidu. He is represented as fighting with animals, or holding a staff, but his special duty is to guard the door. He has a man's head with two horns, his body is human, and from the waist down he is a bull. Sometimes the legs appear to be human, but the hoofs are always clearly indicated, and the tail also is a marked feature. In short, he answers to the usual description of the Christian devil in having horns, hoofs and a tail. But in the eyes of the early Babylonians he was far from being a devil, and his image−sometimes the whole figure, sometimes the head only−was worn as a charm against all evil and ill−luck. He was credited with great prophylactic powers; so much so that such charms were in use throughout Babylonia.”

She wrote the introduction to Gerald Gardner’s book Witchcraft Today in which she says;

“The cult worships a Horned God, representing death, and a moon goddess hitherto unknown in books on witchcraft, representing fertility and rebirth. The male priest in the role of the Horned God presides at Hallowe’en and February Eve Sabbats, while the priestess acting as the Moon Goddess conducts the May and August Eve Sabbats.”

Wicca: Founded by Gerald Gardner. From his book Witchcraft Today:
This god of death and hunting, or his representative, seems at one time to have taken the lead in the cult, and man became the master. But it is emphasized that because of her beauty, sweetness and goodness, man places woman, as the god placed the goddess, in the chief place, so that woman is dominant in the cult practice. (Semiramis dominated as Queen of Heaven above that of Nimrod)

What probably happened was this: there was an organised tribal religion, with a male tribal god, and
an order of priestesses and their husbands who looked after the magic. The chief priest of the tribal
cult was dominant when he attended their meetings, but in his absence the priestess ruled. My witches
speak of him as god of 'Death and what lies beyond': by this they not only mean the life in the next
world but resurrection (or reincarnation).  ed: Egyptian equivalent of Ra.

Pg.24 from Witchcraft Today re: proof this is about Semiramis
Before an initiation a charge is read beginning: Listen to the words of the Great Mother, who of old
was also called among men Artemis, Astarte, Dione, Melusine, Aphrodite and many other names. At
mine altars the youth of Lacedaemon made due sacrifice. Once in the month, and better it be when the
moon is full, meet in some secret place and adore me, who am queen of all the magics ....
ed: read The Two Babylons, by Alexander Hislop found in the links to the left. To understand the Babylonian trinity better, and how they found their way into supposed Christianity, go here: http://fredanderson.blogspot.com/2008/08/eschatology-101-tying-it-all-together.html
View on God: Reject the Christian God, accepting the Lord and His Lady/ god and goddess, not understanding who or what they truly represent.
From the Church and School of Wicca website: http://www.wicca.org/Church/WiccaOutline.html
     A. The Deity is immanent and transcendent.
     B. Every living entity has a spirit which is connected to and part of every other spirit. Humans are part of    Nature.
     C. Divinity manifests itself through all living beings. Nature itself is divine, as is the Cosmos.
     D. God and goddess images are recognized as aspects of a greater divinity.

Romans 1: 22. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,
23. And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.
24. Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:
25. Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

View on Jesus: http://www.wicca-spirituality.com/wicca-beliefs-jesus.html
Most Wiccans have a lot of respect for Jesus... despite our understandable wariness of the religion supposedly created in his name.
Jesus himself was a highly advanced spiritual person, a great sage and saint. He taught not only in the Middle East, it seems, but throughout India where he is revered as an incarnation of the Buddha.
In the same way, most Wiccans admire his teachings, and admit them to be similar to Wiccan ideals and practices.
In fact, there are Christian Witches who revere Jesus (and even more who revere Mary, by the way).

Where Wicca disagrees with orthodox Christianity are the notions that:
  •      Jesus was "THE one and only" enlightened being, rather than one among many sages
  •      He is the only son of God, rather than a son of humanity like all of us
  •      He came to redeem us from innate sinfulness, rather than to point the way to the Divine
  •      He died and rose physically in a body
  •      Worshipping him is the one and only way to attain the Divine.

Beliefs on Heaven:
“Witches generally believe that Heaven and Hell are all around us, all the time, depending on how we live. We create Heaven in the world, and we create Hell in the world, by our actions and choices.”

Beliefs on Hell:
“But Witches don't believe in Heaven and Hell as physical places. If God lives in Heaven, and God is (as Jesus said and Witches believe) right here with us on Earth, this must be Heaven.
As for Hell, it's supposed to be a place where God doesn't live or rule. How could that even be! God is everywhere. The Divine is the fabric from which everything is formed.”

Sacraments:
Dance-All the movements are rhythmic, and the accompaniment is a chant or performed by percussion instruments by which the rhythm is strongly marked. The rhythmic movements, the rhythmic sounds, and the sympathy of numbers all engaged in the same actions, induce a feeling of exhilaration, which can increase to a form of intoxication. This stage is often regarded by the worshippers as a special divine favour, denoting the actual advent of the Deity into the body of the worshipper (demonic possession). The Bacchantes of ancient Greece induced intoxication by drinking wine, and so making themselves one with their God.

Dancing the Cauldron: From Witchcraft Today
Then a cauldron (or something to represent one) is placed in the middle of the circle, spirit is put in and ignited. Various leaves, etc., are cast in. Then the Priestess stands by it in the pentacle (goddess) position. The High Priest stands on the opposite side of the cauldron, leading the chant The others stand round in a circle with torches. They are lighted at the burning cauldron and they dance round in the 'sunwise' direction, i.e. clockwise. The chant I heard was as follows, but others are sometimes used:

'Queen of the Moon, Queen of the Sun, Queen of the Heavens, Queen of the Stars,
Queen of the Waters, Queen of the Earth Bring to us the Child of Promise! (The sun, thought of as being reborn.)

It is the great mother who giveth birth to him, It is the Lord of Life who is born again.
Darkness and tears are set aside, When the Sun shall come up early.
Golden Sun of the Mountains, Illumine the Land, Light up the World,
Illumine the Seas and the Rivers, Sorrows be laid, Joy to the World.
Blessed be the Great Goddess, Without beginning, without end, Everlasting to eternity.
I.O.EVO.HE Blessed Be.'
They dance round furiously, crying:
'I.O.EVO.HE
Blessed Be LO. EVO.HE Blessed Be.'

The Queen of the Moon/Heaven is obviously Semiramis, the Child of Promise is Tammuz, Nimrod reborn- reincarnated! It all goes back to Babylon, Nimrod and the original trinity. Most witches apparently don’t know the history, and it would appear none know the truth.

Other Beliefs: Ethics
A. The ethical set is summarized in the Wiccan Rede: Eight words the Wiccan Rede fulfill:
If it harm none, do what you will. (Thelemite faith of Aleister Crowley)

B. Guidance is given by many earth-plane teachers and by spiritual (discarnate) guides.
C. As above so below. (Also from Aleister Crowley’s teaching) We believe spirituality to be our utmost goal. There are many who wish to change the here and now through magical workings, which is a mundane change and using your much greater abilities to affect instead of accepting today's spiritual lessons. We believe that this is derogatory to spiritual growth. We can learn much better how to accept our spiritual path and today's obstacles through meditation and working with our Guides to understand this path. We view spiritual growth as far better than mundane growth. Spiritual growth comes through knowledge and understanding--learn all you can, through books, Guides, courses, healing, etc.

Religious Rule or Universal Law?
The Three-Fold Law is one of the basics of Wiccan belief.
Despite the name, the Three-Fold Law isn't a Wiccan law, exactly, but rather a universal spiritual principle.

We call it a law, I think, because in our respect-deficient culture we associate laws with punishment, and when what we put out comes back to us Three-fold, it often feels like we're being punished!
The Three-Fold Law is a principle understood in many spiritual traditions in various forms . . .

What you give out comes back to you 10 times.
The sins of the fathers are carried forward for 7 generations (for those who don't believe in reincarnating and reaping it in future lives).
What you do to others will be done to you. Etc.

In essence, the Three-Fold Law is this: What you give out returns to you, multiplied.
"Obey The Three-Fold Law You Should, Three Times Bad And Three Times Good"

In computer lingo, they call this: GIGO. Garbage in… garbage out.
This Wiccan law works equally well with positive choices . . .
BIBO - Beauty in… beauty out. Or JIJO - Joy. You can use Kindness, Peace, Love, Smiles, Trust . . . play around with it.

What Do They Believe- Episcopal Church

Beginnings: Founded in 1534 by King Henry's Act of Supremacy, as the Anglican Church.
Archbishop of Canterbury, Thomas Cranmer contributed a great deal to the reforms away from Catholicism with two versions of the Book of Common Prayer and the 42 Articles of 1553.
King Henry VIII of England (r. 1509-1547) had sought to divorce his wife, Catherine of Aragon (1485-1536). Because the Pope would not annul the marriage, Henry sought to make himself Head of the Church in England. This Parliamentary Act from 1534 gave legal sanction to Henry's assumption of those clerical powers.

The Act of Supremacy: (one long sentence)

Albeit the king's Majesty justly and rightfully is and ought to be the supreme head of the Church of England, and so is recognized by the clergy of this realm in their convocations, yet nevertheless, for corroboration and confirmation thereof, and for increase of virtue in Christ's religion within this realm of England, and to repress and extirpate all errors, heresies, and other enormities and abuses heretofore used in the same, be it enacted, by authority of this present Parliament, that the king, our sovereign lord, his heirs and successors, kings of this realm, shall be taken, accepted, and reputed the only supreme head in earth of the Church of England, called Anglicans Ecclesia; and shall have and enjoy, annexed and united to the imperial crown of this realm, as well the title and style thereof, as all honors, dignities, preeminences, jurisdictions, privileges, authorities, immunities, profits, and commodities to the said dignity of the supreme head of the same Church belonging and appertaining; and that our said sovereign lord, his heirs and successors, kings of this realm, shall have full power and authority from time to time to visit, repress, redress, record, order, correct, restrain, and amend all such errors, heresies, abuses, offenses, contempts and enormities, whatsoever they be, which by any manner of spiritual authority or jurisdiction ought or may lawfully be reformed, repressed, ordered, redressed, corrected, restrained, or amended, most to the pleasure of Almighty God, the increase of virtue in Christ's religion, and for the conservation of the peace, unity, and tranquility of this realm; any usage, foreign land, foreign authority, prescription, or any other thing or things to the contrary hereof notwithstanding.
In 1789, representative clergy from nine dioceses met in Philadelphia to ratify the Church's initial constitution. The Episcopal Church was formally separated from the Church of England in 1789 so that clergy would not be required to accept the supremacy of the British monarch.
Early in the Church's history, Protestant Episcopal Church in the United States of America was used. In the middle of the 19th century, some began trying to drop the word Protestant from the church's name, on the grounds that the original break of the Church of England from the Roman Catholic Church had nothing directly to do with the Protestant Reformation. Also, it had often come to mean anti-Catholic rather than non-papal.
View on Scripture:  Scripture contains the truth that is necessary for salvation and is the primary norm for faith, but must be interpreted in light of tradition and reason. (Col. 2: 8.  Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.)

The Apocrypha is respected but not viewed as Scripture.

View on God:  The one Creator and Lord of all, existing eternally as the Trinity (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit)

View on Jesus:  The eternal Son incarnate, fully God and fully man, conceived and born of the virgin Mary, died on the Cross for our sins, rose bodily from the grave, ascended into heaven, and will come again in glory to judge us all.

View on Salvation:  Salvation is obtained by baptism (infant and converts/ trinity formula), believing in Christ, and keeping his commandments.
Q. What is required of us at Baptism?
A. It is required that we renounce Satan, repent of our sins, and accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior.
Q. Why then are infants baptized?
A. Infants are baptized so that they can share citizenship in the Covenant, membership in Christ, and redemption by God.
Q. How are the promises for infants made and carried out?
A. Promises are made for them by their parents and sponsors, who guarantee that the infants will be brought up within the Church, to know Christ and be able to follow him.

View on Death:  The souls of the faithful are purified as needed ( read: purgatory) to enjoy full communion with God, and at Christ’s return they are raised to the fullness of eternal life in heaven.  Those who reject God face eternal death.

The Church: The church is the body of Christ whose unity is based on the “apostolic succession” of bishops going back to the apostles, of whom the bishop of Rome is one of many.  The Anglican communion is a part of the church, whose unity worldwide is represented by the archbishop of Canterbury.  The church in the USA is known as the Episcopal Church.

Sacraments:  Baptism as above, communion, confirmation, ordination, holy matrimony, reconciliation of a penitent (confession to a priest/and forgiveness by the priest), and unction ( anointing of the sick with oil). Christ’s body and blood are really present in Communion

Other Beliefs: Today the Church calls for the full civil equality of gay men and lesbians. Most dioceses ordain openly gay men and women; in some, same-sex unions are celebrated with services of blessing. In 2009, the Church's General Convention passed resolutions that allowed for gay and lesbian marriages in states where it is legal. Katharine Jefferts Schori (born March 26, 1954, in Pensacola, Florida) the 26th Presiding Bishop of the Episcopal Church of the United States, voted to consent to the election of Gene Robinson, an openly gay and partnered man, as Bishop of New Hampshire in 2003.

What Do They Believe-The Unification Church (Who are the Moonies?)

Beginning: Sun Myung Moon (1920-2012), was born on January 6, 1920 (lunar date), into a family of farmers that had tilled the land for centuries. As a boy he studied at a Confucian school and was a keen observer of the natural world. Around 1930, his parents became fervent Christians, and the young Sun Myung Moon became a Sunday school teacher.

At that time, Japan ruled Korea. Growing up oppressed in his own land, Sun Myung Moon learned early the pain of injustice, whether among his own people or at the hands of the Japanese rulers.

As a young man, he became intensely aware of human suffering and the failure of humanity to create a loving and just world. He sought to understand why people suffer and how suffering can be ended. From going to church, he knew that religion addressed the fundamental human condition and promised an ideal world to those who obey God. (HE DID NOT UNDERSTAND THE SIN PROBLEM, NOR THE CURE)

He also saw that established religions, although centuries old and based on scriptures offering revelatory insights were, in practice, unable to answer many of life’s questions or solve the deepest problems facing humankind.  (HE DID NOT UNDERSTAND THE SIN PROBLEM, NOR THE CURE)

Troubled by the immense gap between religious ideals and the actual state of the world, he began his own ardent pursuit of solutions through a life of prayer and study.

Early Easter morning 1935, Jesus appeared to Sun Myung Moon (15yrs old) as he was praying in the Korean mountains. In that vision, Jesus asked him to continue the work which he had begun on earth nearly 2,000 years before. Jesus asked him to complete the task of establishing God’s kingdom on earth and bringing peace to humankind. The young Korean was stunned. After deep reflection, meditation and prayer, he pledged to take on the overwhelming mission.

After personally accepting that call from Jesus, Rev. Moon set out to discover its meaning. If Jesus wanted him to complete his mission, it meant that Jesus’ mission was incomplete.

On several occasions he was guided directly by Abraham, Moses, Jesus, Mohammed, Buddha and other saints and sages of all faiths, who met him in spirit and contributed to his understanding of God and the complex history of God’s relationship with humankind.

A video from 2004, posted on the website of what was then known as the Interreligious and International Federation for World Peace, showed a ceremony taking place in a U.S. Senate office building attended by Moon and several members of Congress. Speaking Korean, Moon declares himself the messiah and says he'd spoken to the spirits of Nazi leader Adolf Hitler and Soviet leader Joseph Stalin, both of whom he said found strength in his teachings and mended their ways.

Started the “Holy Spirit Assoc. for the Unification of World Christianity” (Family Federation of World Peace and Unification) in 1954 in Korea.  Known in the U.S. as “ Lovin’ Life Ministries” Based in New York City.
Rev. Moon founded the Unification Theological Seminary (UTS) in Barrytown, NY. It is now a fully accredited graduate school offering Master’s Degrees in Divinity and Religious Education. Faculty members have belonged to a broad range of religious denominations.

UTS has hosted much dialog, starting with the New Ecumenical Research Association and continued with other initiatives, such as the Assembly of the World’s Religions.

A key social teaching of Rev. Moon is that the world’s most difficult problems will be best solved by religious leaders working inter-religiously rather than by purely political and economic initiatives.

View of Scripture:  The bible is not the truth, but a textbook that teaches truth.  Moon wrote, Divine Principle, considered the “Completed Testament”.   Outline of the Principle, and Level  4

View of God:  God is both positive and negative.  God created the universe out of himself; the universe is God’s “body”.  God doesn’t know the future, is suffering, and needs man (Sun Myung Moon) to make him happy.

View on Jesus:  Jesus was a perfect man, not God.  He is the son of Zechariah, not born of a virgin.  His mission was to unite the Jews behind him, find a perfect bride, and begin a perfect family.  The mission failed.  Jesus did not resurrect physically.  The second coming of Jesus is fulfilled in Sun Myung Moon, who is superior to Jesus and will finish Jesus’ mission.

View on Salvation:  Obedience to and acceptance of the True Parents (Moon and his wife) eliminate sin and result in perfection.  Those married by Moon and his wife drink a special holy wine (containing 21 ingredients including the True Parent’s blood).

View on Death:  After death one goes to the spirit world.  There is no resurrection.  Everyone will be saved, including Satan.

Other Beliefs:  Emphasis on medium-ism (channeling) to contact the dead, “liberate” souls of one’s ancestors (which makes no sense if all will be saved, including Satan!).  Efforts  to persuade churches to remove their crosses.  Belief that Jesus bows down to Sun Myung Moon, who is the King of Kings, Lord of Lords, and the Lamb of God.http://www.cnn.com/2012/09/02/world/asia/south-korea-reverend-moon-dead/index.html

Isaiah 24: 20. The earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard, Earthquakes & Tsunamis

NWS website definition of Tsunami: a series of traveling ocean waves of extremely long length generated by disturbances associated primarily with earthquakes occurring below or near the ocean floor.

WHY IS THERE AN INCREASE IN EARTHQUAKES AND VOLCANOS?

Isaiah 24: 19.  The earth is utterly broken down, the earth is clean dissolved, the earth is moved exceedingly.
 20.  The earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard, and shall be removed like a cottage; and the transgression thereof shall be heavy upon it; and it shall fall, and not rise again.
 21.  And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord shall punish the host of the high ones that are on high, and the kings of the earth upon the earth.
 22.  And they shall be gathered together, as prisoners are gathered in the pit, and shall be shut up in the prison, and after many days shall they be visited.
 23.  Then the moon shall be confounded, and the sun ashamed, when the Lord of hosts shall reign in mount Zion, and in Jerusalem, and before his ancients gloriously.

"Is  the iron consistency changing in one part of the Outer Core more than the other"?

While the speed of the earth’s magnetic north pole shift has drastically sped up lately to about 34 miles per year (55 km), let’s look at what is happening with the south magnetic pole.
Every magnetic field has two polarities, North and South for example, and one might think that whatever is happening with one pole would be happening (in the inverse?) to it’s opposite pole.
Well as it appears, the earth’s magnetic south pole is not behaving similarly to it’s opposite north pole. In fact, it’s drift, or pole shift, is actually slowing down! Presently it’s only moving 3 miles (5 km) per year, only a tenth the speed of the north!
(Pole coordinate data sourced from NOAA’s National Geophysical Data Center)
Not only that, but it is interesting to note that both the north and south magnetic poles are favoring one side of the earth – the south pole is heavily favoring one side, and continues to move further away from true south.
The south magnetic pole is actually 1,800 miles (2,900 km) away from the earth’s true south pole! That is a substantial offset.
The north magnetic pole is fairly near true north and is ‘only’ about 360 miles (580 km) away.

When the earth is visualized with its magnetic poles more offset and favored towards one side of the planet than the other (which it has been for some time – although the south magnetic pole is moving even further to the favored side), coupled with the large variance in shift speed between the north and south, explanations may seem bizarre.
Since we know that the earth’s magnetic field is generated from the spinning liquid molten iron Outer Core (encapsulating a solid iron Inner Core), is one part of the Outer core churning differently than the other?
Could the Outer Core, or part of it, be offset somehow, causing the magnetic pole axis to pass through one side of the planet more than the other? Wouldn’t that cause the planet to wobble?
Is the iron consistency changing in one part of the Outer Core more than the other?
If the Outer Core is ‘centered’ with the rest of the earth, and the molten iron composition is considered to be relatively consistent, do these observations indicate that the magnetic axis is actually bending or warping as it passes through the planet?

These are all interesting things to think about (for some of us), and while being just a logical minded casual observer, there is no doubt that these earth changes are powerful ones – even if only occurring relative to the time frame of the planets life.
Could crustal movements, earthquakes and volcanoes be affected differently on this side of the planet than the other? The location is certainly right on top of the pacific ring of fire, and very near the general vicinity of Indonesia (most active volcanoes in the world), and located in the part of the world that gets the majority of earthquakes. It could purely coincidental, but who’s to say…

Checked your compass lately??

I know many readers don't believe we are really in the time of the end of this age...but once again, true science is on the side of God! The Earth will not be destroyed by these events, because we have the sure word of God that after Jesus returns, we have another thousand years of His glorious reign before the White Throne Judgment. But we also have the sure word of God that the earth WILL REEL to and fro like a drunkard...and as Paul Harvey would say..."NOW you know the rest of the story!"

Did N. Sumatra earthquakes set off a chain-reaction? Planet shaken by shocking number of tremors since April 11, 2012

April 17, 2012 - WORLD - The shocking number of earthquakes that have rattled the globe, especially along tectonic plate boundaries, since the double 8.0+ magnitude earthquakes struck off the coast of Northern Sumatra on April 11 could be early indication the planet may be shifting towards a new catastrophic model. Romania’ s top seismologist, Gheorghe Marmureanu, told the Bucharest Herald: “There is no doubt something is seriously wrong. There have been too many strong earthquakes.” I said in my book: “If you keep seismically shaking the Earth, like a bottle of soda, its structural integrity eventually will become compromised and it will start to fracture like an egg. In this case, the fracturing will be thermal dissipation by hyper-volcanism, mega-thrust earthquakes, and greater tectonic boundary plate agitation around volcanic arcs and subduction zones…if this is what’s indeed happening, the pressure will continue to build in the interior of the planet until it eventually destabilizes all tectonic plates in a spectral pattern of continous seismic oscillation. Every earthquake generates and emits enough kinetic energy through the earth to potentially trigger more seismic disturbances.” -The Extinction Protocol, page 495
