Uniting Religions For World Change: The G8 World Religions Summit

NOTE: Everyone heard about the G8 and G20 political summits in Toronto, yet few knew that a global interfaith event paralleled the G8/G20. This event, titled the G8 World Religions Summit, brought together spiritual leaders from around the planet to work towards an interfaith approach to global governance. The following article on the G8 World Religions Summit, taken from first-hand experience, is the front article in a 41-page report on this important interfaith summit. It details the event and its intentions, giving you a birds-eye view regarding the spiritual side of globalization.

A sacred fire was lit. Mother Earth, we were told, needs to hear that we love her, so give a "prayer of gratitude" to the Earth; "Because out of Mother Earth comes all we need to live…she gives us the food, the water, the medicines, and the teachings."


We were asked to privately perform a water ritual, for this will give strength to Mother Earth. Everything that's alive, "even the water" it was explained to the delegates and observers, has the spirit. We were told that religiously speaking, "there is not only one way, there is many ways" – and to go to the sacred fire and "invoke the spirits." Drummers summoned the power of the eagle spirit, because it brings "the spirit of love, it brings vision. The Eagle carries our wishes and our prayers." And this eagle spirit will tell the Great Spirit of the wonderful things happening in this gathering.


And what a gathering! As an observer to the 2010, G8 World Religions Summit (WRS), I listened as the opening ceremonies set the tone for this remarkable event. The Secretary General of the WRS, Dr. James Christie – the Dean of Theology at the University of Winnipeg – welcomed us as religious equals, stating that what was important was that we "offer our service, and ourselves, and our lives" to the "God we know by so many names."[i]

This multi-faith perspective was evident in full color; Hindu swamis in flowing orange attire, members of the Saudi Ministry of Islamic Affairs dressed in desert garb, Jewish yamakas, cross pendants and clerical collars, Shinto robes, Orthodox priests in black, Salvation Army uniforms, and Baha'i leaders and evangelical Christians in business suits. Religions from every corner of the planet were represented. Even so, very few people have heard about the G8 World Religions Summit, held in Winnipeg, Manitoba from June 21-23.


Compared to the G8/G20 political summits occurring days later in Toronto and Huntsville, Ontario, the WRS – the official religious parallel – was an ultra-tame affair. The security budget for the Winnipeg event was zero; nobody burnt any cars, and no windows were smashed. The only "protestors" were a group of Mennonites who, a few days before the Summit began, sang songs of support at a downtown park.[ii] In fact, many of the international participants had "never heard of Winnipeg" before.[iii]

Nevertheless, what occurred in Winnipeg will likely have a far more real impact at the local level than what transpired in Toronto. Why do I say this? Because of the direct lines of influence that radiate from the World Religions Summit right down to individual bodies. It's a top-down strategy ensuring that religious people will fall in line with an emerging global framework – a type of world theology along with an international system of socialism. And it's going to work, particularly in the Christian community.

"We Give Thanks"

The history of the G8 World Religions Summit goes back to 2005. That year, Jim Wallis of Sojourners – a left wing Christian advocacy group – teamed up with the Archbishop of Canterbury to "raise the voices of the faith leaders of the world in unity and in a call for justice."[iv] The 2005 event was a small, ecumenical affair made up of representatives from Catholic groups, the National Association of Evangelicals, World Vision, the Salvation Army, the Mennonite Central Committee, the World Evangelical Alliance, and other church bodies.

These leaders released an "Action on Poverty" document calling for governments to alleviate poverty, and for faith communities to generate the necessary moral will. The text itself was very short and ambiguous, with an underlying socialist slant.


The next year, the G8 religious summit took place in Moscow and a host of other religions contributed; leaders from the Muslim, Jewish, Buddhist, Hindu, and Shinto communities – along with Christians, hashed out another declaration, this time calling for a "more systemic partnership of religious leaders with the United Nations." In 2007 at Cologne, the emphasis was on the UN Millennium Development goals and the support for a worldwide climate change "protection agreement." 2008 and 2009 saw the religious leaders meeting in Sapporo/Kyoto/Osaka, Japan and Rome, Italy.


Sapporo's declaration called for religions to unite in a "commitment to peace." It also recognized that "religious communities are the world's largest social networks which reach into the furthest corners of the earth." In other words, religions are powerful actors in the global field. Hence, the Sapporo text demanded a system of "Shared Security" based on interdependence, the "mysterious giftedness of all existence," the establishment of an "Earth Fund dedicated to environmental protection," and a binding global climate treaty. Another document was released in Japan, recognizing that the "dharmic, pantheistic and ancestor traditions of Eastern societies remain a practical tool… in defence of the environment." And religious diversity was expounded as part of the divine, cosmic order – therefore, "we seek to be considered equal partners."[v]

Finally in Rome, faith leaders focused on the worsening global economy and broadly called for a "new financial pact," without really explaining what it would entail. To be fair to the Rome event, the entire summit was overshadowed by the almost simultaneous release of Pope Benedict's encyclical Charity in Truth, which shook the international community in its brazen call for a world political authority "with teeth." Winnipeg, as a potential hosting city for the World Religions Summit, entered the picture in 2008. At Sapporo, Dr. James Christie, a representative from the Canadian Council of Churches, recommended Winnipeg for 2010. It was accepted.


Dr. Christie, who's the Dean of Theology at the University of Winnipeg, wasn't the only Canadian at Sapporo. Another official from the Canadian Council of Churches, Dr. Karen Hamilton was present, and these two formed the nucleus for the 2010 event, which was held at the University of Winnipeg


Under the surface of this emerging Summit was an interesting, behind-the-scenes matrix. Christie, Hamilton, and the President of the University of Winnipeg – Lloyd Axworthy, who gave the initial go-ahead for the event – are all top officials with the World Federalist Movement (WFM). Axworthy is the President of the WFM, Christie the Council Chair, and Hamilton is the WFM Executive Chair.


For those not familiar with the WFM, it's the largest and most influential pro-world government advocacy group in existence. Over the years the WFM has openly called for a world parliament, an international military force, a global tax regime, and a host of systems designed to legally bind nations under a central governing structure. The WFM also has a history of working with global interfaith groups, such as the United Religions Initiative, in bridging politics and religion at the international level. So Winnipeg would host the Summit, organized by key officials from the Canadian Council of Churches whose worldview is saturated in a world government context. Moreover, the spiritual component is completely couched in an interfaith mindset – all religions are carriers of truth, all spiritual expressions are divinely valid. Not only was this interfaith perspective evident in the other G8 religious gatherings and throughout the Winnipeg event, it was expressed in the 2010 WRS Resource Kit with a recommended prayer,


"We give thanks for the world's religions and the richness they bring to our lives… We give thanks for our Baha'i brothers and sisters, for their genuine openness and desire for unity… We give thanks for our Buddhist sisters and brothers, for their sense of peace and relinquishing of self… We give thanks for our Christian brothers and sisters, for their message of love and ethic of compassion… We give thanks for our Hindu sisters and brothers, for their open-hearted acceptance of others and kindly disposition toward those of other faiths… We give thanks for our Humanist brothers and sisters, for their emphasis on the dignity and worth of all persons…We give thanks for every faith tradition, named and unnamed, for the variety and richness of their spiritualities, for their united quest for truth… ever unite us as one community…" (For the full prayer, see the "Ever Unite Us" article in complete Forcing Change report).


Biblical Christianity runs counter to this "ever unite us," all-religions-are-valid claim. This is evident in both the Old and New Testaments, where God expresses in no-uncertain terms His displeasure with those who flirt with other faiths. 2 Corinthians 6 rhetorically asks; What harmony is there between Christ and Baal? How can there be fellowship between light and darkness? What agreement can be found between the temple of the Living God and idols? (See 2 Cor. 6:14-16).


Unfortunately, Christian groups were involved with the WRS, even at the planning stages – giving the interfaith movement credibility. And it wasn't just the Canadian Council of Churches, but Sojourners and World Vision, and Canada's largest evangelical umbrella group; the Evangelical Fellowship of Canada (EFC).


In a March 2010 interview with Christian Week, Karan Hamilton explained that the EFC was a full partner in the World Religions Summit; "In fact, they could be said to have been the first partner in."


Such a move, it was recognized, could create leeriness in some evangelicals who support the EFC. When asked about this point of contention, EFC stated; "Interfaith is absolutely a place were the EFC could work when we're talking about social justice."[vi]

Bringing in the Canadian evangelical community was a strategic move, as was inviting other Christian groups. Dr. Hamilton explained,


"They come by virtue of their position and that's been a very deliberate strategy. So the Archbishop of Canterbury is invited… Jim Wallis from Sojourners is coming…The general secretary of the All African Conference of Churches will be one of the plenary speakers. His position means that he represents – institutionally, structurally, organizationally, however you want to put it – the Christians of Africa, which is half the population of Africa."[vii]

What all of this represents, from the first event in 2005 until Winnipeg, is the intentional move within Christendom to politically unite with other faiths "in one community." The motivator: Social Justice – world peace, care for the Earth, and alleviating poverty.


And who doesn't want peace, a healthy environment, and the poor raised above their poverty? These are admirable goals. But something else is going on, raising the question: What does the Christian community have to sacrifice in the name of interfaith partnering for "social justice"?


Not surprisingly, the only time the name "Jesus Christ" came up at the 2010 WRS was when He was compared with Buddha and Mohammad as a religious figure. Nobody dared present Him as "the way, the truth and the life… the only way to the Father." (John 14:6). Love, compassion, and "spiritual law" were tossed about freely in the speeches. But nobody was willing to rock the boat by venturing into what Francis Schaffer called "true truth."

The interfaith approach, by default, recognizes Jesus as one spiritual leader in a long line of religious reformers. That's all. Nothing more. Hence, at global interfaith events, like the one that took place in Winnipeg, Christian representatives remain silent on the subject of Jesus Christ as truth, "…the only way to the Father." For to do otherwise would be divisive and contrary to the ideal of "one community." By default, the Christian community has to sacrifice Truth.



Therefore, it was no surprise that on different occasions I heard participants criticize Christian missions and Christian "fundamentalists." The representative of the Pacific Council of Churches told us that everything is inter-connected, and that we need to revisit the ancient [pagan] religions and myths – those ancient ways that were "deliberately pushed aside" by Christian missionaries – in order to understand and appreciate this interdependence. Another speaker explained that it was time to put aside the past dogmas of traditional faiths, and that the litmus test for religions in this global era was interdependence and transcendent spirituality.


Religions, we were repeatedly told, needed to unify if the planet is to survive.

Brainwashing in America WHY FEW DARE CALL IT CONSPIRACY

Brainwashing is not, as some anti-Christian educators and students contend, the Biblical process of training our children to love and follow God. The word "brainwashing" refers to a planned, step-by-step attempt to "wash" family-taught beliefs from the minds of those who oppose government ideology. In America, it would mean replacing the old Biblical values and world view with a new way of thinking that would support a totalitarian agenda. In other words, every child must become a peace child, a willing and active servant of a new world order.

A massive world-wide partnership is pioneering new strategies for social transformation. The media, the entertainment industry, computer companies, government agencies, educational institutions, the United Nations and its accredited non-governmental organizations (NGOs) have all joined together in a common quest for a global mind change. They seek solidarity -- a worldwide unity based on a new set of beliefs and values. "Obsolete" and "exclusive" loyalties to national sovereignty, Biblical values, and the unadulterated U.S. Constitution stand in their way.

Conforming the masses to their way of thinking requires all the sophisticated tools and tactics developed at the various "behavioral science research" institutes and "education laboratories" established first in England, then in the Soviet Union and Nazi Germany, and finally in the United States. If these psycho-social engineers win their battle against an unsuspecting public, they would "wash" away individual thinking, free speech and all the other "rights" that have made America unique. The vacuum would be filled with lofty ideals, enticing images and deceptive promises designed to mold minds that match their global vision. Bombard children with mind-changing suggestions

A familiar tale told to first-graders in Pennsylvania illustrates both the tactics and the planned transformation of the world. We all know the story of the Little Red Hen who wanted some bread to eat. She asked some of her barnyard friends to help make it. But the cat, the dog, and the goat all said "no." Finally she did all the work herself. Yet, when the bread was done and its fragrance spread throughout the farm, her unwilling neighbors were more than willing to help her eat it.

"Won't you share with us?" they begged.

"No," she answered. "Since you didn't help, you don't get anything."

In the context of traditional values, the moral of the story is: you get what you work for. But those who have learned to think and see from the new global perspective are led to a different conclusion. Listen to the kinds of questions the first grade teacher asked her class:

"Why was the Little Red Hen so stingy? Isn't it only right that everyone gets to eat? Why wouldn't she share what she had with some who had none?"[5]

The concerned mother who heard and reported this story asked, "What kinds of values were the children taught?" The new interpretation emphasizes love and sharing, but what is missing? How might it confuse a child's values?

The answers are obvious. The children were taught socialist values. The new interpretation vilified values that had motivated Americans to be diligent, responsible and fair. The teacher's questions were actually strategic suggestions prompting the group to ridicule traditional values, to see reality and society from the new politically correct perspective, and to intimidate and shame anyone who dared to disagree.

A new mental "framework" is vital to this paradigm shift [see chart]. But to launch the new system, the old patterns must be blurred and broken. The educational establishment knows that children who are fed a daily diet of biblical truth will resist their plans for change. They also know that students bombarded with strategic suggestions and idealized pagan images will probably reject Christianity. If schools can build the "right" kind of framework or filter in the minds of children early enough, the new global beliefs will fit right in. In other words, the battle for the hearts and minds of America's children will be won by the side that first trains children to see reality from its point of view.

This paradigm shift was no mystery to Aldous Huxley, author of Brave New World. He wrote that education must provide a mental "framework... within which any piece of information acquired in later life may find its proper and significant place." [6]

In the old days, that mental framework was the biblical world view. But Huxley, like most of today's change agents, called for a New Age/global framework. Like a filter, it blocks facts and ideas that don't fit, but welcomes input that strengthens the framework -- especially when communicated through stories and images that stir the imagination and arouse strong feelings.

Our leaders have already shown us that Al Gore's words, "every tactic and strategy..." includes compromise, lies, deception, and propaganda. Where Biblical values have been dismissed as obsolete, these tactics seem are perfectly acceptable to those who lead this spiritual and psychological war for control of the masses. The UN, with help from the Clinton-Gore administration, have already re-invented the concept of government. Its new global management system would be based on its principle of sustainable development or rather, the 3 E's: Environment, Economy and Equity. It means using a grossly exaggerated view of the environmental "crisis" to re-educate the masses, persuading them to accept totalitarian tactics for redistributing the world's economic resources and creating socialist equality. How to Reach Perfection

Reaching Perfection-It Takes a Firm Foundation

Hebrews 5:
12. For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.
13. For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.
14. But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

Hebrews 6:
1. Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,
2. Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.
3. And this will we do, if God permit.

Going on unto perfection does not mean we no longer teach the foundational truths, , or first principles, it means we finally teach meatier matter than the milk of the word. “Perfection” in Heb.6:1 means: specifically:

We don’t reach perfection by abandoning our foundation, but by building upon it. To say we no longer need to teach the foundational principles of the doctrine of Christ: the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God, of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment, we are destroying our foundation. Anything we build thereon will not stand!

Luke 6:

Until we all agree what the doctrines of Christ are, and what the foundational doctrines are, we can’t come into unity. We will always be divided into denominations, whether we call ourselves non-denominational or not! Until we all agree to let the scriptures be our ONLY authority on truthfulness, and stop relying on our denominations manuals, we will fail.

If you are trying to reach completeness in Christ without these fundamental truths of His divinity as creator, and gospel and obedience to that gospel by following Acts 2:38 in repentance, baptism in Jesus name, and receiving the infilling of the Holy Ghost, you’re building without the scriptural foundation required. Please let the scriptures speak for themselves. Don’t be talked out of truth by denominationalism, philosophy, and vain deceit (empty lies).

BP oil worker 'warned about vital safety problem but nothing was done' Terry Kirby

A worker on the doomed Deepwater Horizon rig claimed he spotted a leak in safety equipment weeks before the explosion which has sent millions of barrels of oil into the Gulf of Mexico.

Speaking on tonight's Panorama programme on BBC 1, Tyrone Benton claims the leak in the blowout preventer was not fixed at the time but instead the faulty device was shut down and a second one used.

The claims will increase pressure on BP, which today saw its share price drop by three per cent after criticism from the White House of BP chief executive Tony Hayward for taking part in a yacht race around the Isle of Wight while the environmental disaster continues.

Today, the lawyer in charge of BP's $20 billion compensation fund for victims of the spill said he was determined to speed up the payment of claims.

Kenneth Feinberg said President Obama wanted to "get these claims paid". He also said he would "err on the side of the claimant" when dealing with grievances from fishermen and businesses.

"Do not underestimate the emotionalism and the frustration and the anger of people in the Gulf uncertain of their financial future," he said. "It's very pronounced. I witnessed it first-hand last week."

BP admitted that its response to the spillage has now cost the company $2 billion.

However, the firm says rig owner Transocean, which was responsible for the operation and maintenance of safety equipment, said it tested the device successfully before the accident.

When the rig exploded on April 20, killing 11 people, the blowout preventer failed. According to the Panorama report, the blowout preventer contains a pair of giant “shears” which are designed to cut and seal off the well's main pipe.

Mr Benton told the programme that the problem was identified in the control “pods” of the blowout preventer, which contain hydraulic and electrical equipment.

He said: “We saw a leak on the pod, so by seeing the leak we informed the company men. They have a control room where they could turn off that pod and turn on the other one, so that they don't have to stop production.”

The programme says that repairing the control pod would have meant temporarily stopping drilling work on the rig at a time when it was costing BP $500,000 a day to operate the Deepwater Horizon.

The decision not to repair the pod was criticised by Professor Tad Patzek, petroleum expert at the University of Texas: “That is unacceptable. If you see any evidence of the blowout preventer not functioning properly, you should fix it by whatever means possible.”

The US Congressional inquiry is said to have identified numerous other problems with the blowout preventer, including design problems, unexpected modifications and a flat battery.

In his evidence to Congress, Mr Hayward denied claims the company had put costs before safety.

Shadow foreign secretary David Miliband told Sky News: “Tony Hayward is accountable for the actions of the company. Does that mean he's not allowed to have a day with his son? No. “Does it mean that he does have to lead the company to deal with this fundamental issue that threatens the whole future of the economy? Yes, it does.”

Where’s Jimmy? Just Google His Bar Code

Scientists currently tag animals to study their behavior and protect the endangered, but some futurists wonder whether all humans should be tagged too.

Scientists tag animals to monitor their behavior and keep track of endangered species. Now some futurists are asking whether all of mankind should be tagged too. Looking for a loved one? Just Google his microchip.

The chips, called radio frequency identification (RFID) tags, emit a simple radio signal akin to a bar code, anywhere, anytime. Futurists say they can be easily implanted under the skin on a person’s arm.

Already, the government of Mexico has surgically implanted the chips, the size of a grain of rice, in the upper arms of staff at the attorney general’s office in Mexico City. The chips contain codes that, when read by scanners, allow access to a secure building, and prevent trespassing by drug lords.

In research published in the International Journal of Innovation and Sustainable Development, Taiwanese researchers postulate that the tags could help save lives in the aftermath of a major earthquake. "Office workers would have their identity badges embedded in their RFID tags, while visitors would be given temporary RFID tags when they enter the lobby," they suggest. Similarly, identity tags for hospital staff and patients could embed RFID technology.

“Our world is becoming instrumented,” IBM’s chairman and CEO, Samuel J. Palmisano said at an industry conference last week. “Today, there are nearly a billion transistors per human, each one costing one ten-millionth of a cent. There are 30 billion radio RFID tags produced globally.”

Tracking boxes and containers on a ship en route from Hong Kong is OK, civil libertarians say. So is monitoring cats and dogs with a chip surgically inserted under their skin. But they say tracking people is over-the-top -- even though the FDA has approved the devices as safe in humans and animals.

“We are concerned about the implantation of identity chips,” said Jay Stanley, senior policy analyst for the speech, privacy and technology program at the American Civil Liberties Union. He puts the problem plainly: “Many people find the idea creepy.”

“RFID tags make the perfect tracking device,” Stanley said. “The prospect of RFID chips carried by all in identity papers means that any individual’s presence at a given location can be detected or recorded simply through the installation of an invisible RFID reader.”

There are a number of entrepreneurial companies marketing radio tracking technologies, including Positive ID, Datakey and MicroChips. Companies started marketing the idea behind these innovative technologies a few years ago, as excellent devices for tracking everyone, all the time.

Following its first use in an emergency room in 2006, VeriChip touted the success of the subdermal chip. "We are very proud of how the VeriMed Patient Identification performed during this emergency situation. This event illustrates the important role that the VeriChip can play in medical care," Kevin McLaughlin, President and CEO of VeriChip, said at the time.

“Because of their increasing sophistication and low cost, these sensors and devices give us, for the first time ever, real-time instrumentation of a wide range of the world's systems -- natural and man-made,” said IBM's Palmisano.

But are human's "systems" to be measured?

Grassroots groups are fretting loudly over civil liberties implications of the devices, threatening to thwart their development for mass-market, human tracking applications.

“If such readers proliferate, and there would be many incentives to install them, we would find ourselves in a surveillance society of 24/7 mass tracking,” said the ACLU's Stanley.

The controversy extends overseas, too. David Cameron, Britain's new prime minister, has promised to scrap a proposed national ID card system and biometrics for passports and the socialized health service, options that were touted by the Labour Party.

"We share a common commitment to civil liberties, and to getting rid -- immediately -- of Labour's ID card scheme," said Cameron according to ZDNet UK.

These controversies are impacting developers. One firm, Positive ID, has dropped the idea of tracking regular folks with its chip technology. On Wednesday, the company announced that it had filed a patent for a new medical device to monitor blood glucose levels in diabetics. The technology it initially developed to track the masses is now just a “legacy” system for the Del Ray Beach, Fla., firm.

“We are developing an in-vivo, glucose sensing microchip,” Allison Tomek, senior vice president of investor relations and, told FoxNews.com. “In theory it will be able to detect glucose levels. We are testing the glucose sensor portion of the product. It will contain a sensor with an implantable RFID chip. Today’s patent filing was really about our technology to create a transformational electronic interface to measure chemical change in blood.”

Gone are the company’s previous ambitions. “Our board of directors wants a new direction,” says Tomek. “Rather than focus on identification only, we think there is much more value in taking this to a diagnostic platform. That’s the future of the technology -- not the simple ID.”

The company even sold off some of its individual-style tracking technology to Stanley Black and Decker for $48 million, she said.

These medical applications are not quite as controversial as the tracking technologies. The FDA in 2004 approved another chip developed by Positive ID’s predecessor company, VeriChip, which stores a code -- similar to the identifying UPC code on products sold in retail stores -- that releases patient-specific information when a scanner passes over the chip. Those codes, placed on chips and scanned at the physician’s office or the hospital, would disclose a patient’s medical history.

But like smart cards, these medical chips can still be read from a distance by predators. A receiving device can "speak” to the chip remotely, without any need for physical contact, and get whatever information is on it. And that’s causing concern too.

The bottom line is simple, according to the ACLU: “Security questions have not been addressed,” said Stanley. And until those questions are resolved, this technology may remain in the labs.

National Day of Prayer

The National Day of Prayer, to be observed the first Thursday of May, as per an Acts of Congress, in 1988, will be held in cities, towns, and small communities all across this country May 6th, this year.

What should we pray for? How about the people of God openly pray for, and demand, that every so called preacher-bishop-pastor of the Christian faith teach/preach the Word of God without man made traditions attached? That the bible take precedent over the ministerial fellowship's manual? That deceivers, and infiltrators, enemies of the cross be exposed, and that God would grant them repentance, so they would preach repentance, baptism in Jesus name for the remission of sins, and the infilling of the Holy Ghost, which is promised to all true believers (Acts 2:38-39). We should pray for forgiveness for our own lack of commitment to the word of God as the final authority for all things in our lives, and truly repent!


The church should show without apology or hesitation that Jesus is the ALMIGHTY CREATOR GOD, He that WAS AND IS, AND IS TO COME. Not some New Age Nimrod-anti-Christ who is about to appear and claim to be he who was and is ... the one we were awaiting to re-appear.

Rev.1: 8. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.

Only Jesus Christ can honestly say that, but I fear another will come saying that before the real Jesus comes. Beware.

John 1:
1. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

Pray that a grass roots Christianity rise up demanding to be heard at least as well as the false doctrines of Islam, evolution, etc. Our federal government (remember, we are NOT a democracy- but a republic) may not put one religion above another, but that means they can't put one below another either. Christianity's voice should be unfettered, fearless, and loud in the marketplace. Christians in a republic can still demand they are represented by those upholding Christian values and freedoms! Pray for the boldness to refuse to be cowed by the liars, deceivers who would try to silence us. Pray that God would shine His light on and in the heart of ALL our politicians, and leaders in all our communities exposing those who purposely have aligned themselves with the enemies of Jesus. We may not turn them, but at least they won't be free to insidiously try to turn us away from the ONE TRUE GOD. Jesus Christ of Nazareth!

The Bottom Line on Natural Born Citizen

I write this follow up in response to reader mail regarding my column DC Knows that Obama is Ineligible for Office. Even many conservative columnists and pundits seem confused on the issue of natural born citizen, even though the matter is really quite clear.

History answers the question of what “natural born citizen” means, and leaves NO wiggle room for debate or wishful agenda-driven interpretations.

The term was first used by the British Royal family. The question at the time was how to keep the Royal bloodline intact when members of the Royal family traveled abroad extensively, often giving birth to offspring while abroad, therefore bringing the issue of “native born” into question.

Native is a term relative to geography, where a person is at the time of birth. This issue came up as a challenge to John McCain during his 2008 bid for the White House, as he was born “off base” at a local hospital in Panama while his father was stationed on a Navy base in Panama.

As a diversionary tactic to lead obvious questions away from Barack Hussein Obama, some challenged McCain’s “natural born” status as a presidential candidate on the basis that he was not “native born” on US soil, or on US territory, the US Naval Base in Panama. Congress, therefore, passed a resolution proclaiming McCain a “natural born citizen” on the basis that he was the “natural born” son of two US citizens, more specifically, the natural born son of a US Naval Commander.

However, no such resolution exists for Barack Hussein Obama, and here’s why;

The term “native” relates to the geographic location of birth. But the term “natural” relates to the “laws of natural,” ergo family lineage or the bloodline of the father.

The term “natural born citizen” next appears in the Law of Nations, a treaty between nations which established certain universal standards, one of which being the term “natural born citizen.”

The related passage from Vattel’s book on the Law of Nations reads as follows;
“The citizens are the members of the civil society; bound to this society by certain duties, and subject to its authority, they equally participate in its advantages. The natives, or natural-born citizens, are those born in the country, of parents who are citizens. As the society cannot exist and perpetuate itself otherwise than by the children of the citizens, those children naturally follow the condition of their fathers, and succeed to all their rights. The society is supposed to desire this, in consequence of what it owes to its own preservation; and it is presumed, as matter of course, that each citizen, on entering into society, reserves to his children the right of becoming members of it. The country of the fathers is therefore that of the children; and these become true citizens merely by their tacit consent. We shall soon see whether, on their coming to the years of discretion, they may renounce their right, and what they owe to the society in which they were born. I say, that, in order to be of the country, it is necessary that a person be born of a father who is a citizen; for, if he is born there of a foreigner, it will be only the place of his birth, and not his country.”

Note the following text—“As the society cannot exist and perpetuate itself otherwise than by the children of the citizens, those children naturally follow the condition of their fathers, and succeed to all their rights.”

Further clarification—“The society is supposed to desire this, in consequence of what it owes to its own preservation; and it is presumed, as matter of course, that each citizen, on entering into society, reserves to his children the right of becoming members of it. The country of the fathers is therefore that of the children;”

And the final blow to Barack Hussein Obama—“I say, that, in order to be of the country, it is necessary that a person be born of a father who is a citizen; for, if he is born there of a foreigner, it will be only the place of his birth, and not his country.”

The subject of “natural law” found in the Law of Nations is entirely consistent with the Royal British purpose of the term “natural born citizen.” It keeps the family bloodline intact on the basis of the father’s blood, aka “natural law.” It is the source from which our nation’s Founding Fathers entered those words into the US Constitution, under Article II—Section I—Clause V;

“No person except a natural born citizen, or a citizen of the United States, at the time of the adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the office of President;”

Not “native” or “naturalized” or “citizen,” but only “natural born” citizens can hold the office of president.

The matter is quite clear and it is on this basis that I have written that John Sidney McCain is indeed a “natural born citizen” of the United States, and the Barack Hussein Obama is not, no matter where in the world he might have been born.

A Hawaiian birth certificate for Barack Hussein Obama solves nothing, other than curiosity. A “certification of live birth” means even less, as it only confirms that a child was indeed “born live”—with no reference as to where that birth took place, or who attended or witnessed that birth.

Some argue that the XIV Amendment altered the meaning of the term “natural born citizen.”

“All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States;” However, the XIV Amendment makes no mention of “natural born citizen” as it was written to address issues of “immigration” and “naturalization,”—which excludes any redress regarding “native” or “natural born” citizens of the Unites States. In short, “natural born” is the exact opposite of “naturalized.” They are two completely different subjects and as we know, “naturalized citizens” cannot hold the office of President, though they are indeed “citizens” with otherwise equal rights. As Barack Hussein Obama’s stated birth father, Barack Hussein Obama, Sr. was at no time in his life a citizen of the United States, but rather a British subject and native citizen of Kenya, it is not possible for Barack Hussein Obama, Jr. to be a “natural born citizen” of the United States. It is therefore not possible for Barack Hussein Obama Jr. to be a constitutionally qualified resident of the people’s White House. Does it matter? Does the “will of the people” trump the US Constitution via the outcome of an election which happened as a result of fraud, in which the candidate concealed the fact that he is not a “natural born citizen?”

Only the people can decide…
But I submit to every American the idea that if Article II—Section I of the US Constitution is no longer worthy of protection and preservation, then nothing in that document matters anymore.

If we fail to uphold Article II—Section I of the US Constitution, then we have failed to uphold, protect, preserve or defend any part of the US Constitution or the American way of life.

If the US Constitution no longer stands, then the United States of America no longer stands.

Is there a more pressing issue on the table today?

So Many Tears

Almost hidden under waves of red hair, his young eyes smile out from my television screen, bright windows to his irrepressible soul. A brief shadow flickers across his face. Slowly the smile fades, dulling his eyes; straightening his mouth. A questioning look replaces the happiness of a minute before. The camera holds it, holds it, holds it, then gradually fades to grey.

Like the now dark screen, the beautiful light in that life has gone out. His father’s weeping, recorded moments before – deep, wracking sobs – throbs in my memory. Also his mother’s empty eyes as she recalls the piercing words: “Ari is no more.” We have been allowed to see the precious family photographs: the new-born infant suckling at the breast, the toddler taking his first steps, the boy with his gaily painted Purim face, the mischievous teen, the serious scholar, the young man in love, the new recruit with his arms around his IDF buddies. Family and friends share their memories, one after the other breaking down as they get to the part where he fell in the war.

Today is a terribly sad day - Memorial Day in Israel. All day long I have watched the photos of the beautiful young men who fell in defense of this small nation. I listen to their parents; their children, their siblings - - tears flow again and again, and mine fall too. So many tears. So much pain for such a small land.

Wailing sirens across the country marked the start of this national day of anguish at eight-o-clock last night.

In Jerusalem’s Old City, the cameras panned across, and zoomed in on, the ranks of Israel’s bereaved families; filling the public stand in the plaza at the Western Wall. A young woman, widow of the latest soldier to fall, put the flame to the Torch of Remembrance.

Scars of irretrievable loss lie in deep grooves across faces, old and young; red eyes swim, and teeth bite down to steady shaking lips.

President Shimon Peres addressed the mourners, telling them nothing could counterweigh the loss of a loved one.
“I am aware that nothing can compensate for the sound of the steps of a son you expect to hear in the staircase and that has suddenly turned silent, the son whose uniform you hung on a hanger in the closet and that generates a yearning to smell the smell of his body one last time.

After the speeches a man who lost his son in Gaza read – with heavily accented Hebrew – the Kaddish – song for the dead. Like the parents of many, he had made Aliyah, immigrating with his children to the promised land of the Jewish people – and added the payment of his son’s life to all the others who have made the supreme sacrifice to secure this nation in its land.

All afternoon, and late into the evening, Israel’s television screens have been filled with tales of tragedy. Photographs and home movies of young men, full of life and fun and promise, are followed by the shared memories of those they have left behind – wives, girlfriends, mothers, fathers, brothers, sisters, daughters, sons.

For every life lost in defense of the Jews’ right and ability to live in their homeland – tens of people mourn. On Memorial Day that mourning – even when subdued by the, sometimes many, years that have passed – returns in force.

It unites the nation in grief.

“Snap out of it,” I try to deal with my own emotions even as I deliberately immerse myself in Israel’s hurting. “You don’t know any of them.”

I don’t. I know none of the soldiers that have fallen in Israel’s seven wars – and in the between war terror campaign; I know none of the civilians that have been murdered in acts of terror; I know none of the families who – so heartrendingly – play back their memories. But I can’t deflect the piercing points of pain.

The words of Psalm 13, put to music by Brian Doerksen, roll in on my mind:

How long, O Lord, will You forget me? How long, O Lord, will You look the other way? How long, O Lord, must I wrestle with my thoughts ? And every day have such sorrow in my heart? Look on me and answer, O God my Father, Bring light to my darkness before they see me fall. But I trust in Your unfailing love. Yes my heart will rejoice, Still I sing of Your unfailing love; You have been good, You will be good to me.

By tonight this weeping, anguished nation – hated by almost everyone, surrounded by enemies who daily prophecy (falsely!) their national destruction – will be wrung out like a sponge; emotionally spent.

Suddenly, almost brutally, we will transition from the day of mourning to the day of rejoicing as Israel celebrates its 62nd year of independence.

Along with tens of thousands, my family will head downtown to join the throngs on Jerusalem’s Ben Yehuda Street. Cafes will overflow, lively music and dancing will breathe life back into the heart of the capital, fireworks will light up the sky, also over the jewel of Jerusalem, the Old City, whose golden walls have witnessed so much war, so much sadness and, paradoxically, so much joy.

At the Western Wall, in cemeteries, in schools and other public places today, ceremonies of sadness were concluded with the amazingly sanguine national anthem, Hatikvah (The Hope).

Indeed, concerning His chosen, battered people, God’s word holds so many promises for the future, when:

“Violence shall no longer be heard in your land, Neither wasting nor destruction within your borders; But you shall call your walls Salvation, And your gates Praise.
The sun shall no longer be your light by day, Nor for brightness shall the moon give light to you; But the LORD will be to you an everlasting light, And your God your glory. Your sun shall no longer go down, Nor shall your moon withdraw itself; For the LORD will be your everlasting light, And the days of your mourning shall be ended. Also your people shall all be righteous; They shall inherit the land forever, The branch of My planting, The work of My hands, That I may be glorified. A little one shall become a thousand, And a small one a strong nation. I, the LORD, will hasten it in its time.” (Isaiah 60: 18-22)

Jesus is coming again, very soon. Those who hate Israel will be shamed- shown to be fools. I would to God that all in Israel would come to know Jesus as their Messiah before He appears in clouds of glory, but rest in the assurance of His word that they will yet accept Him when He does come.

Illegal immigration becomes Arizona state crime

Arizona is the first state in the U.S. to make illegal immigration a crime—and illegal aliens and their advocates aren’t happy about it.

While the pleas from American citizens in Arizona and other states fall on deaf ears in Washington, DC, the violence and crime at the U.S.-Mexico border continues unabated. In yet another example of violence spreading north of the border, a deadly Mexican gang is actively plotting to kill U.S. law enforcement officers and their families in Texas, according to a Department of Homeland Security alert that warns U.S. cops to wear body armor and vary routes to avoid being tracked.

The U.S. government has spent billions of dollars to fight Mexican drug cartels yet they continue to be the nation’s largest supplier of illicit narcotics and violent Mexican gangs have expanded into every region of the country, including idyllic rural areas.

“This is hardly earth-shattering news since Mexico has long represented the single greatest drug trafficking threat to the U.S., despite Uncle Sam’s multi billion-dollar effort to halt the northbound flow of narcotics. The costly investment has failed miserably, according to a federal report that reveals Mexican heroin production has actually doubled in the last year,” state officials from the public-interest group Judicial Watch.

In the absence of federal enforcement a Mexican border state—Arizona—drowning in an illegal immigration pandemic has passed legislation that bans “sanctuary city” policies and makes it a state crime to be in the U.S. without proper documentation.

The law marks an unprecedented effort by an American state to take immigration matters into its own hands since immigration offenses are currently violations of federal law that cannot be enforced by local police. But lawmakers in Arizona are fed up with the enormous toll that illegal aliens are having on their state as the feds sit idly by and fail to secure the southern border, according to a Judicial Watch report obtained by the National Association of Chiefs of Police.

In the past few years they’ve chipped away at the crisis with other measures, though this is by far the most hard-hitting and definitely among the country’s toughest immigration enforcement laws. The measure, passed this week by the Arizona House and previously approved by the Senate, grants police the power to stop and verify the immigration status of anyone suspected of being illegal and requires foreign nationals to carry proof of legal residency. This includes the man known as “America’s sheriff” Joe Arpaio of Maricopa County, which includes Phoenix.

Sheriff Arpaio has been targeted by the Obama Justice Department and Democrats in his own state because of his tough immigration enforcement policy.

Illegal aliens will be charged in state court with trespassing, and anyone—documented or undocumented—seeking work from a road or sidewalk will also be criminally prosecuted. Drivers who pick up illegal alien day laborers will also be punished when the law kicks in.

Predictably, immigration advocates are incensed and have called on Arizona Governor Jan Brewer to veto the measure which they assert is racist. The legal director of an influential national group La Raza that represents day laborers calls it an “unconstitutional, unwise and odious bill” created by “demagogue leaders” who have become folk heroes for “white supremacists” throughout the country.

Arizona lawmakers have long searched for ways to curb the colossal impact that illegal immigration has had on their state. A few years ago they enacted a law that punishes businesses that hire illegal immigrants, though the state has not penalized a single employer. Legislators allocated the sufficient funds (about $5 million) to enforce the law but a chunk of the money remains largely unspent by counties throughout the state, according to the JW report.

Call Them What They Are—Invading Criminals!

As if the Democrats’ mad rush to remake America into a third-world colony of Mexico were not bad enough, mindless liberals actually want to scrap the First Amendment by banning use of the term “Illegal Alien.”

The PC-preferred term is “undocumented worker” or “undocumented immigrant” which are intended to deliberately skirt the issue of criminal invasion.

D**n it, illegal aliens Are NOT immigrants!

Migrating to America (legally) is, and should be, a long, drawn-out procedure meant to protect the interests of American citizens. It involves more than simply jumping a fence and heading north in pursuit of free health care, education, food stamps and other handouts paid for by U.S. taxpayers.

Legal immigration means enduring rigorous hurdles like background checks to detect a criminal background or possible ties to terrorists.

It means medical examinations to detect diseases still prevalent in third-world nations, but long since eradicated here, and

It means proof of financial solvency so as to prevent newcomers from becoming a burden on U.S. taxpayers.

Those who have jumped the fence into America in order to avoid our immigration checks are not immigrants.

In truth, people who come here illegally leave America vulnerable to undetected crime, terrorism, disease, and financial devastation. And they have no legal or moral justification for being here.

Why engage in silly word games and euphemistic cover-ups?

People here illegally are illegal aliens and need to leave ASAP.
