EU: Let's ensure division of Jerusalem

This is an artist's impression of the future (third)
Jewish temple. Notice that in this position it is
in perfect alignment with the eastern gate.

How might there come to be a rebuilding of the Jewish Temple? Maybe, for the sake of "peace" since Jerusalem will be the capital of two states...two temples should be accommodated. We know the temple will be rebuilt:

Revelation 11:
1. And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein.
2. But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months.

From jnewswqire.com:
According to reports running in the Israeli press Tuesday and Wednesday, a Swedish-drafted statement will be read out on December 7 after approval by the EU Commission. It will be the "first official EU articulation of a solution" for the issue of Jerusalem in the Middle East peace process.

Ha'aretz reported that the draft "refers directly to the situation in East Jerusalem, calling on 'all parties to refrain from provocative actions' and stating the EU Council 'has never recognized the annexation of East Jerusalem. If there is to be a genuine peace, a way must be found to resolve the status of Jerusalem as capital of two states. The Council calls for the reopening of Palestinian institutions in Jerusalem in accordance with the road map. It also calls on the Israeli government to cease all discriminatory treatment of Palestinians in East Jerusalem.'"
